Finding your way around
We have links galore to help you find what you want here! Our many styles are split up between the two main headings at the top of each page: Socks and Accessories. “Socks” has everything from anklets to thigh highs, while “Accessories” has arm & leg warmers, petticoats, garters, gloves, and every other non-sock thing we offer. Be sure to check out What’s New, as well as our Sale section and ZAP! clearance section. And stop by our Sock Journal to see what we’re saying about our socks and goings-on at Sock Dreams!
Each section also has related links in the menu on the left side, along with an option to shop by brand using the drop-down menu. You can find our search feature at the very top of any page on our website.
Adding items to your cart
Once you’ve found what you’re looking for and clicked through to that item’s page, you can check out the various color and size options by selecting them from the drop-down menus. Most items also have fiber content and sizing information listed below the color choices. (For more on sock sizing, be sure to see our sizing info page.) After you’ve selected the size, color, and quantity you’d like, just click on “add to shopping bag” to put the item in your cart.
Using gift cards
Enter your code in the “Gift Cards & Codes” box at the top of your shopping cart and click “apply” to see your totals adjusted. You can pay with multiple gift cards for a single order. If you see “O” in your code, it will always be the letter O, never the number 0. You cannot use a gift card to buy another gift card. Gift cards do not have to be spent all at once; you can use a gift card over and over til you’ve spent its full amount. Our gift cards never expire, so you may use them at your leisure.
Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and PayPal are accepted by our online checkout system. We require PayPal as payment for orders placed outside the U.S. and Canada; there are no exceptions at this time.
After submitting your billing information and making your payment, you will see a page thanking you for your order. An automatically-generated order confirmation email should arrive within approximately 15 minutes. If you see a page saying we were unable to process your order, it is usually because your card was declined. This can happen for a variety of reasons, including your billing address or CCV not matching what your card-issuing bank has on file. If you do not see a confirmation email within 24 hours, it could be because there was an error in your email address, or because our confirmation email was automatically filtered into your spam folder. In these cases, feel free to contact us to be sure that we received your order; please include the name under which the order was placed, as well as the date on which you tried to order.
When you receive your confirmation email, please double check the shipping information and the items you ordered, and let us know about any discrepancies as soon as possible! We often send out orders so quickly that if you wait a day, it may already be too late to make any changes to your order.
Ordering by phone
You can place your order by phone at 888.71.SOCKS (888.717.6257) Monday – Friday, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM Pacific. If we are not available to answer the phone, please leave us a message with your name, number, and the best time for us to call back. Please note that there is a $5 handling fee for orders placed by phone.

If your order is a gift, be sure to check the box for “Gift invoice: do not include prices on invoice”, which can be found on the Shipping Options screen during checkout. This will remove all prices from the invoice, and a text field will pop up so you can write a personal note to the recipient; that note will show up on the invoice for them to see.
