Sock Journal -

From Niqkita's early daily sock blog to our super sock team that posts now, we've been keeping the Sock Journal going for over 14 years! With everything from DIYs and Reference to Tips & Tricks, we’re here helping you figure out what socks are the best for you. Because we’ve gathered lots of sock know-how over the years and can’t wait to share our sock knowledge! And with Sock Journal posts like Plus Size and Made in the USA we can shine the spotlight on some of the things we work hardest to achieve, like making awesome plus size socks in the USA. We mean it when we say we want to help everybody find their perfect socks, so we’re always working to make more and better options ourselves when we can’t find them elsewhere. Of course, we can’t do what we do without our awesome customers like you, which is why we love being part of our communities of fellow sock folks.

    Patterns & Textures: Ribbed
For socks that stay up a bit better, or have a thicker feel, we turn to ribbed socks. Ribbing is made by alternating knit stitches with purl stitches, in different proportions depending on what effect is desired.

  6. Patterns & Texture: Lace

    Patterns & Texture: Lace
Let’s get lacy! Lace isn’t a knit fabric, but one made from knotting, twisting or cutting and removing threads. Patterns & Textures: Chevron
Slim zig-zagging stripes, chevron patterns can range from delicate to bold and can be a subtle way to spice up a simple sock. A chevron pattern can mimic the interlaced beauty of cabled socks in a simpler way, or add a little visual zing with its zigs and zags.
