Costumes -

We need little excuse for putting on costumes, and even less to tell you all about our favorite costume ideas! We know that socks, tights and petticoats can be exactly the thing to bring your costume together and we love helping you find that thing you didn’t even know you were looking for. Every year as Halloween rolls around we gear up for ultimate costume season with our favorite DIYs, closet cosplay and hot tips on the most popular costumes we’re seeing that year! We also know there are different kinds of costume planners so whether you’re looking for last minute sock modifications or things that will finish off that costume you’ve been planning since last Halloween, we’ll help. Of course, costumes aren’t just for Halloween (or cosplay). Our enthusiasm for costumes also covers theatre and reenactment! Looking at socks through the ages and what modern options can help replicate that look, or are the closest to particular styles of yore is just part of our socks+costume nerd equation!

Socks Through Time Part 3: Shakespeare's Embarrassing Stockings
