…just yesterday Mr Natosi & I argued over whether or not it is cool to send candy to strangers. I’m not saying I don’t think it’s a great idea and I know some do it and it is received with extreme glee, it just isn’t a liability I want to take on, so instead I am offering you, our beloved Sock lovers, friends, family & fans a chance to get these
~ ::((( tasty handmade hand warmers )))::~
of which we have only a small and limited supply of…

As I write this I am wearing my new pair of EG Smith bootsocks…
they are a perfect purple unlike the grapey version of bootsocks past.
They come in 7 other colors and I am getting the pictures all taken this week (four down, four to go). They should be live by this weekend and ready for you to buy.
We are also working out the final details before we give access to a select few of you for beta testing the new site! yes, we truly are almost there!!!
More info to come…

We received a link to the image above with this message:
Hi, I received the sock garders I purchased, and I’m very impressed with the quality. I knew the US could produce awesome quality products better than China. By the way, I came across this photo and thought you might want to use it in your promos. It’s a photo (Getty images) of the 1908 US Men’s Tug-Of-War Olympic team. It seems that everyone was wearing sock garders in the past. I would promote this photo and tell the world that “real men” used to wear sock garders.
and although we spell it with a “t” I did find this link for sock garders featuring another fun image of a well dressed man.
Of course we here at Sock Dreams know real men still wear sock garters
our own VP Mr Natosi wears them often…

okay, you can’t see them in that shot, but they’re under there!
We have yet more garters in the works…
no word yet on just when we’ll get more elastic for our beloved button hole garters (we could get another version, but I just don’t like it as well as the one I can’t get, I do ask often and am always told so,mething to the effect of just a little longer…)
and, one of our in house Dreamers came up with a brilliant idea that I can hardly wait to share, no, not even a peep about it you’ll get from me, you know what they say about loose lips! other stuff too, so stay tuned and remember…
Sock Dreams loves you!

Though it’s been warmer, it has been a less-than-awesome week thanks to an icky little virus that has been going around and keeping us down. I am a little behind in my editing and have been ignoring phone calls and emails completely for days.
One of the bright spots, and there have been a few, was a new batch of tie dyed socks from Tie Dye Eric. This time, O Basics! next up, fingerless gloves and bamboo crews. Plus, lots more O Basics because we’re sure to sell through these quickly.
And in the non-tie-dyed arena we have several additions being worked on…
from technical sports socks to sexy stockings and a few other fun things.
But for now, bring on the pretty colors!!!

One day recently Tie Dye Eric showed up at Sock Dreams with 2 pairs of tie dyed crew socks and a big idea. What if he took some of our dreamiest socks and performed his colorful magic…

In a pinch for what to get a guy?
We have a great assortment of socks for men…
Our top picks for the stylish gentleman:
B.ella luxury socks that survive the washer and dryer…
Marcello Big Striped Men’s Socks
Maniche wool/silk blend Tweed Bootsocks
Aurelio Colorblock men’s socks
and of course, our very own B Chevron, lightweight and made of recycled fibers.
All four of these styles are made in the USA
and have survived being washed & dried by real men.
Add some stylish sock garters in either a classic style or our very own suspender style which is infinitely easier to attach to his socks (or your socks) and stay attached.
We have both, with and without stripes, and even offer a vegan friendly version.

Now that you have his feet covered, throw in a pair of warmers for his hands.
Most of them will fit most men. Our personal favorites are the
Polonova velvet wrist warmers, they really complete a very nice look.
We’ll be coming in and shipping all orders out as fast as we can
right up until the last minute, regardless of the weather…
Happy Holiday shopping!!!

These are my favorite new warmers!!!
the colors make me happy every time I see my hands
I love the green bits running through them and have been grabbing this pair every day now that a chill has hit the Northwest. I can pull these all the way past my elbows but usually keep them down on my forearms and find myself wearing them nearly most of the time, inside & outside.

Last month a local woman contacted Sock Dreams telling my staff of her lovely wares and asking if we were interested. Bsti intercepted an email with her link and told me I really needed to see them. No, I don’t need to see any more must have socks right now, we already have more coming than I can possibly manage sanely, but curiosity always gets me and sure enough, they’re awesome!

So I wrote her and we met and I ordered and she screen printed, resulting in a lovely assortment arriving as our starter order. Now, as I mentioned, I am swamped (just the way I like it btw, but I am forever overestimating how much I can accomplish in a day) so I decided they’d be store only til we catch up and can get them all properly photographed. But I just know some of you are going to love them!

Here’s the basic information: the knee highs are made in the US, nylon trouser socks, then they are screen printed by hand with the best patterns I have seen, every edge is perfect, no weird gaps or overlaps. The colors are black with silver or gold and red, maroon, brown & olive with black (swirls only on the colors).
The wrist warmers are soft yummy velvet with a mehndi pattern screen printed on in copper (as specially requested by me because it looked awesome and I didn’t want to bother with silver & gold).

So, if you are brave and willing to play a little game with me, I’m going to let you buy them with the catch that you can only suggest a color and we’ll choose the pattern and send them off to you with a wink and a smile.

The O Marled are among very-very favorite socks, in the top five for sure!
But on chilly days, or nights, nothing beats snuggling into a cozy pair of our
Super Marled Dream Stockings (except maybe the Super Dreamy Stockings…)
So, why were we out of these for the past couple of years? The mill we work with was having trouble getting the yarn and we could get lots more over the knees out of the supply than we could these thigh highed Super version. This year we’re thrilled to be fully stocked on both lengths!

These come all the way to the tops of my thighs and stay up pretty well for around the house. They are super comfy for pulling on first thing in the morning or for a cozy layer under your pants. They are 90% cotton and a heavier knit than the Super & O Dreamy stockings. The Dreamies, being an acrylic blend, have that super soft feel, almost a fluffiness to them, the Marled are very soft also, but it is different…
more substantial.

For my size 8.5 feets I prefer the small size
…though they both fit me, the small is just right and the large is loose. So I found it funny that I ended up keeping the large black cherry pair we used in the images and EG was accidentally sent a small pair for her size 11 feet.

I assured her that my large pair is indeed larger than the one she received
and we are sending her a new pair so she can give you the full run down on how they fit larger feet later this week or next. If only we could have merely switched pairs this morning when I read her email!

My pair is about 42 inches long from heel to rolled cuff.

One final thought before I open the discussion up for the rest of your thoughts….
the ankles can get baggy when they start to ease slowly down your legs. I tried wearing them with a pair of ankle boots so they could hang over the tops like leg warmers or leggings and it looked super cute, the top image shows this minus the boots which I had just removed before taking the picture.
(because I’m silly like that sometimes!)
