Niqkita, I see you have mostly women who follow these postings and patronize your shop. I'm a guy and I love women in socks. I had a girlfriend who always wore the kind with beads on top. She always looked so sexy in those socks!! We rode bicycles a lot and she had pants that when folded up, had a picture of a cyclist about to jump off the cuff. And her sock had him landing again after jumping over her bare leg. She had great calves and this drew attention to them. Has anyone heard of things like this? I wish I had taken pics!
Anyway, Niqkita, just wanted to say that you guys sound like nice classy people and I'd love to support you and your business if I lived up there. Maybe I will anyway through the mail. And you girls, keep rolling up those pantlegs! Show off your socks and a little bit of leg!

I love that you guys support Pride every year. If I didn't live on the East Coast, I'd definitely attend. Have fun!

Sounds like fun. Meg, I love your saying..."straight but not narrow" I need to try that out on my in-laws--they need some enlightenment!

I wish I could be there! Ugh, I'm still writing a paper for a class, and then grading exams and papers this weekend. I'm looking forward to the pics to come!

No, you don't have to be gay to be proud, and yes, this is one of the few events I actually work at. As gay marriage and "Don't Ask Don't Tell" get more and more coverage and controversy I think it is more important than ever to support equality and fight ignorance & the hatred it brings. This is not about glamorizing sexuality, it's about the freedom to be who you are and love who you love with the same rights all law abiding citizens enjoy.
