ok ok ok i got them!!!!!!! first thing - SD is right when they say these are LLLOOONNNGGG!!! to say the least......they are incredibly long! and they do have a very delicate fell to them....more nylon-y then cotton-y....the foot is a nice size....i actually could position the formed heel on my heel because it came over my heel! (size 10) And yes they do stay completely on my foot! the foot part is a bit thicker but not like a thick sock...still very silky thin and can fit all my heels....i did the roll thing on the tops and i like that look and feel....i am really ejoying these!

The image of me in the black ones was true to how they fit me. I started out with them all ruched thigh to ankle, but after moving around, walking, dancing to my own beat, etc they were ruched below my knees but sleek and sheer from my knees to my thighs and yeah, I thought they stayed on my feet really well.

I am a ruiner of delicate things, so I was worried when I first tried these on. Though they feel gauzy and light, they're super sturdy cotton and I don't see how they could run from normal wear.

The foot part stays on your feet like a dream, even when I was prancing around the house shoeless.

As for how they stay up, that's one of those things that depends on one's legs and if anything is being worn beneath the socks (wearing fishnets or tights with them can help keep the ruching where you want it). There is so much sock they can't just hang out at the ankles, some of us with scrawny chicken legs found that they naturally fell in to full, graduated ruching from the knee to the ankle after a while. Artful and arranged ruching lasts longer on fuller legs.

Can anyone tell me how they feel--more like pantyhose or cotton. Do you think they would run?

SockDreams takes PayPal and mail-in payments! Those socks *can* be yours!
(You could also purchase a plane ticket to Portland and see us in the store, but I think a mailed-in payment is easier ....)

I NEED THESE! Alas, I don't have a credit card, live on the other side of the country, and my family would never buy 100 inch socks, even as a gift DX

thought you might all be interested... I got these all the way up my leg. All the way to the hip joint. Serious stretch in these. At it's widest point, my thigh is about 30inches.

Not going to lie, it was tough and there was a bit of pinching getting them up but once i got them up it was ok. Didn't wear them long so I'm not sure how comfy they'd be long term, but they do have quite a lot of stretch. :)
