Lost Sock Memorial Day

sock-goblins
We’re celebrating again this year by offering you 20% off towards restocking your sock stash. All you have to do is type lost socks 2009 in the promo code box during check out (be sure you click on adjust or it won’t work). This deal only lasts through the weekend so tell all your friends before it’s too late! (because, you know, we’re not going to send you two or three emails to remind you~;)

Another great way to celebrate: we are reintroducing Throx!

We first saw them in 2003 and later suggested them as the perfect stocking stuffer for the holidays. …yes, I know, the journal is a bit of a mess back there,
it is being worked on, more about that another day…
We’ve got several new styles in now…
a couple are on our site, a couple more are being added this weekend
throx-red-bears-dara-mary
and bunches more are only in the store (for now).
There are due to be even more in coming months, including thigh highs(!!!)
Throx!!!

Yaaaaay! I just placed my order for some pink O Pastels and the beige and black (plus) Sheer Pinstripe stockings. I participated last year, when I bought three pairs of socks, so I know how great of a deal this is.

Thanks so much for remembering our lost socks. Providing the Throx again just in time for this memorial day is absolutely wonderful. Did you know that Throx appeared on the Today Show a week or so ago? I saw them, and I remembered how I first heard of them through your site.

From the children’s singer Linda Book …

    “My washing machine eats SOCKS!
    It doesn’t like ice cream
    Or apples or pickles,
Dogs or cats or plants or rocks,

    My washing machine eats SOCKS!”

Shout out to all the Davis, CA kids out there!

You guys rock! Between this and free shipping, it doesn’t get much better. Just placed an order for 9 pairs of beautiful socks and stockings that were on the top of my wishlist.

I was going to get the dots and stripes rainbow toe socks but they were sold out by the time I heard about the sale and looked at them again. Oh, well! No biggie. I got lots of other lovely things instead. :)

We’ll have more of the stripes & dots toesocks in the next week or so.
…I kinda underestimated just how popular they’d be.
I’m glad you were able to get nine out of ten of your top choices though ~=)

Wanna know something funny? I had a few pairs of the old Throx, and when I washed them…no sh!t, I lost TWO from each Throx! :P

I am missing a sock right now and am quite irked about it. Sock gremlins!

My friend made a Missing Sock animation, and I thought it rather fitting for today!

  7. niqkita Says:

That is really awesome, thanks for sharing it Daniel!

  8. Amanda Says:

Aaaahahahahah I love how you’re still using that picture. :D

It has been a long time since I have purchased anything. When I saw there was a sale I was immediately happy. It gave me an excuse to get some things I felt were a luxury like the Grrr… Betsey’s Fishnet Tights. I also bought the MP Vertical Puckered Tights as a gift for a Co-worker who really helped me out this past week. I introduced her to this site and she liked those but, they were a little out of her price range.

I say all that to say: Thank you Niqkita and all the other Dreamers too.

Amanda: I couldn’t imagine a better image for Lost Sock Day!

Brandy, I just wore my cobalt Grrrs for the first time in ages the other day, I forgot how nice they are, you should love them! I think they would look great on darker skin too, it’ll really bring out their pattern.

…and of course, you are very welcome!!!
