One day recently Tie Dye Eric showed up at Sock Dreams with 2 pairs of tie dyed crew socks and a big idea. What if he took some of our dreamiest socks and performed his colorful magic…
not last week, but the week before, one of my best friends (aka employees) came into my room (aka the west office) with two pairs of tie dyed crew socks and a story about a tall man dressed entirely in tie dye who wanted to sell us socks he’s dyed and dye the socks we sell. We arranged a meeting with him later that week and he left with samples of what we wanted to see him work his magic on. Long Cuffable Dream Stockings (aka scruffables because of a customer typo) were our first thought, and we threw in some Super Basics just for fun and he came back a few days later with more variety than we’d dreamed of…

Oh, wow. I don’t know that I would ever wear a pair, but those are gorgeous! I love the way the orange and red looks going up the front, especially! Kudos!

I love the camo too! it is one we’ll have him do again…
not only have we had the joy of picking several pairs this morning. One of our first customers in the store had seen this entry and wanted some for his wife!

OOh, I love the camos! One question, are they all long cuffables, or are some super basics? Because I can wear the super basics, but the long cuffables and I don’t get along……
Can you request a super basic pair, in other words?

So pretty! I don’t wear tie-dye often but these are beautiful. I had to try a pair. I can always wear them to bed if I’m not brave enough to wear them out. ;)

This has been sooo fun! I haven’t picked them all, but have picked most of the orders for these the past two days, including yours Michelle ~=)
Sheila, most of the camos are the supers and yes, you can request, we may not have em to send, but we’ll try…
Also, Eric was here yesterday and we gave him some O Basics to play with ~=D

so so so so pretty!!! I have the same issue though, I would like a super basic pair (in classic, I love the rainbowiness.. yum), but not too sure about long cuffables. perhaps I will wait til they became regular sockdreams items. Will these be sorted by which base sock types were used as well as the colour/patterns when they eventually get added as regulars? :3

Aww, I guess I came a day too late, the page is no longer available. I love the brightness of these guys, I’ve been looking for something different and these fit the bill perfectly *sad face* I can’t wait until they are a regular item, I’ll definitely be getting myself a pair as soon as I can.

Sorry about that! the page is back… this happened the last time I tried to have a hidden page too. It’s as if after a couple of days our system figures out we’ve been sneaking through a back door and shuts it. So I had to make it fully visible but still want it to only be found via the journal. Easily found that is, because now if someone goes to the Valentine’s Sweeties page they will find it at the very end of the list. Today being the 13th I don’t think too many people should be perusing that section anymore.

Squeeeeee! I received my beautiful tie-dyed scruffables today! THANK YOU NIQKITA! They’re so pretty and soft and squishy! I can’t wait to go home and put them on! YAY!

Got my tye dye scruffables on Friday, wore them to bed that night (post shower) and didn’t take them off until Sunday morning. I love them! Found a sweater in my closet that matched one of the shades of green, and added a denim mini and cowboy boots. That was my romantic, V-Day going out outfit. I asked the BF to take a pic of my socks, but it was a bit too dark by the time we tried. Maybe soon I’ll send one in. :-)
I have a friend who would look perfect in a not-as-long version as well. When you get OTKs or knee highs, I’ll be hooking her up.

I’ve been dyeing my socks from you guys for ages! It’s a great way to snazz up some of the sale pairs that come in my less-than-favorite colors. If i ever get around to it I’ll send you some pics! (these look gorgeous, btw!)

these arrived yesterday and are my absolute favorite socks. I have so many, so this is a hard thing to say. I will definitely buy more in other lengths/styles! I’m actually thinking of getting the “assorted” as well as my current “classic” :]
