This letter arrived today via email:
Subject: Your socks and accessories in art!
I have promised a couple of you in the shop that I would send the pin-up Alice in Wonderland that my husband Lee Moyer and I created for his literary pin-ups project, costumed in socks and garters from Sock Dreams. I am finally remembering to do so! Hot socks! Hot Alice! And it is currently in Society of Illustrators gallery in NY and will make an appearance in their NY show, too. Rawk!
In context of an interview with Lee:

Of course I love Alice in Wonderland and any creative takes on Alice…
HURRAY for Tim Burton remaking the movie!!!, amazing scents based on Alice, cute blogs relating to her adventures, good friends who send me copies of books and now local artists using our socks & garters for glorious Alice pin-up art,
I will dream happily tonight!
Many thanks to Annaliese and Lee Moyer for letting me use their image here!
And WooHoo for Shelleopard’s Budded Snappy Garters being used!!!
