Subject: Your socks and accessories in art!
I have promised a couple of you in the shop that I would send the pin-up Alice in Wonderland that my husband Lee Moyer and I created for his literary pin-ups project, costumed in socks and garters from Sock Dreams. I am finally remembering to do so! Hot socks! Hot Alice! And it is currently in Society of Illustrators gallery in NY and will make an appearance in their NY show, too. Rawk!

We’ve been seeking good vertically striped socks since the beginning…
the new Fast Lane knee highs are our favorite so far! Made for us under our very own DreaM Stocking label. These are a thick, soft nylon with finished edges and very good stretch. We’re also looking into having these done in cotton and as over the knees. Plus we are likely to bring in more colors of this version because they are pretty fantastic and fit every one of us here at Sock Dreams quite nicely.
and, as if that isn’t awesome enough…
we’re throwing in a free sticker when you order them!

Chase and I have been talking about what socks are the warmest.

Though he’d been loving the length of the Super Stripes, he became enamoured of the O Woolies (seen on him here in magenta) when I brought him some to try. However, after trying my O Marled (seen here in fawn*), he demanded a pair his own size. From tests out in the crazy deep snow we’ve been having he’s decided he likes the O Marled best.

*Actually, I think I’m wearing his pair. No wonder the feet seemed so big!
Now, before I go into the conversation that came from Brenna & Chase’s review I must warn you that our sock makers are doing their best to keep up with the fervent demand for our Dream Stockings, and nearly everything we are out of is being made or is on its way or will be…

As much as I have enjoyed my vacation I’ve been getting back to editing again the past few days, finishing up with pictures I took right before the holiday season went totally crazy and left me no time to focus and some of those were just quick shots to capture the colors. I’ve added several new colors in along with a few new items like the B.ella Martas pictured above, one of my recent favorites because they are quite soft, squishy, warm and super pretty! If I’m not wearing my favorite long dreamy socks I am probably wearing my Martas.
We restocked the EG Smith Space Dyed Tights at long last and hope to have the missing colors soon…

Space Cabbage, seen here on Brenna who braved a skirt in the snow just so that I could get a good picture of them. I’ll be adding several new items every week most weeks but will only be adding stuff to the clearance room sporadically, I recently added several beloved Cronerts that we would like to clear out, enjoy!
