Chaos Inspired Socks

Rarely does a movie make more than a ripple in our sock world.
We’ll get the occasional query or request for something someone saw somewhere.
But before this year’s Batman even came out people were looking for socks like the Joker wore. And true to the dedicated nature of many of our sockaholics they even provided images and clues to start us on our hunt. First we brought in this version from Foot Traffic:

and for $7 it is a great deal, especially if you’re in the US and choose our standard free shipping (which will usually get them to you wicked fast). We’ve seen these socks elsewhere for more, plus shipping. In fact, some of our sluethiest customers have pointed out Ebay sellers selling this exact sock for $20+ using our images and words altered ever-so-slightly. Yes, this has happened more than once or twice, and yes, I always send the sellers a nice note about copyright infringement.
Now, thanks to the help of our friends at Tabbisocks, we have this custom version created just for us! First I had my imaging assistant Brenna do a layout of colors. This was a huge challenge as we required more consistency than the original had, plus, you can’t outright copy something like that. Next Tomomi sent our request to their mill in Japan and came up with what we think is a darned fine representation of this years hottest Halloween accessory. And you don’t even have to be a guy to wear them! They have a great stretch that allows them to fit from small feet to large.

Only $13 with no presale wait or extra shipping charges
(unless you are outside the US, or choose expedited shipping, of course).

Ah! A weapon concealed sneakily in the sock garter!
Why hadn’t *I* thought of that?

*coughs* Isn’t that what everyone uses their sock garters for? ;)
Fabulous, guys! I know some people who will be quite happy about this! :D

They are also available for purchase from the actual makers of the socks in the movie, for quite a lot more.

I should totally do a review on the Lemonades stockings. …however, am getting into the heavy move phase and am just about to take a week+ off with my sweetie to accomplish this. I can hardly wait til we’re settled in and I can get back to my sock addicting workaholic ways ~;)
and yes, Tabio’s sock doesn’t look exactly like the movie either which is strange, esp for that price! also, they are still doing pre-sale while some people probably already have the pairs they bought from us ~=D

Oh! Raubynn! Please do tell! Lemonade looks great. How do they fit the foot. Is there enough hold to wear them slouched?

the lemonades in my opinion are as follows – correct me anyone if something goes astray: they are a stocking – like a tight – so that will help imagine the fit and the material – not loose at all so i should think no slouching but this morning i put them on to test slouchability and you can actually slouch them and actually i am loving the slouch way so thank you Ms Brandy for asking because i wouldnt of tried otherwise….now seeing as how they ae like a tight in fit….they are also like a tight in material so if one is thinking of the 80s style slouch socks – they were rather thick – these are not thick which might be why i love them so…they just make me think of the flapper girls and their rolled down stockings…which if i leave them to their own devices they roll down below my knee and pretty much stay there. otherwise they definitely need some help with garters staying up….i took some super fast horrible shots as i was trying your slouch suggestion but i think i do not know how to add them to a comment…hhmmm…i will have to try….the toe has a seam that falls across the top of my toe knuckles and an almost invisible formed heal which all fits my size 10 feet perfectly and these come up easily over my knees with room for a little roll at the top (from my heel to knee looks to be about 20″)….they are a raw edge so they do not pinch into the skin at all. they are super stretchy and when one first pulls them out of the package may question “are these really for an adult??†but no fear they stretch stretch stretch….like a sweet t-shirt almost….hhmm…i love them i do!…great for heels cuz of their slimness….

I’m having sock withdrawal–I need to place an order soon. Have a question about the garters. Which are better for keeping socks up–the suspender garter clip or the traditional garter clip? Or does it depend on the thickness of the sock?
Thanks!

Definitely the suspender because they are hella-easier to put on
…and hold all socks, thick and thin, especially thick.

Thanks Raubynn! I saw them and was like mmmm……These would be great worn a little slouched. I wear thick or thin slouched around the ankle. I do not like slouch socks though.
