Sundaes in the Breeze

I’m pretty sure you guys all get as excited as we do about new things. New styles, new designs, and (to me) the most exciting of all, NEW COLORS!!

Sea Breezy Knees

Liz and I are always at our most excitable when we’re playing with colors for new stripes. With the Dreamy Knees already such a hit with everyone, obviously we had to add more color combos! Sea Breeze is a big favorite with everyone at headquarters. The nice light blues and yellows conjured very different mental images depending on who you talked to! For some, sailing on a calm lake. For others, sunshine and clouds at the beach. To some they gave more of a cold impression, like a sunny day in the arctic. I’m always fascinated by the ideas invoked by pretty color combinations, and the Sea Breeze stripes are excellent for that!

But then we get a very different vibe from the Sundae stripes.

Delicious frozen treat or warm cherry pie? Possibly a rich raspberry truffle? Most of us thought food when we saw these delicious stripes, although possibly we were just hungry that day. Apart from food though, they make me think of warm coziness, which is why I had to go pester my snuggly cats to get pictures. Sir Edmund wasn’t too happy about it (he’s kind of a grump), but Morty didn’t seem to mind.

I love your journal entries! I’m also impressed that you matched up the colors of the socks to linked pictures so well. …And where did you get those perfectly matching towels!?

Those are so cool!! Absolutely adorable! =) Are they warm and do they stay up well?

That is a most delicious review!!!
I love the images linked & the towel
…and, as always, the kitty toes & noses.
Morty was born to be a sock model ~>^..^<~

For warmth, they’re mostly cotton so keep you nice at any temp, they stayed up pretty well on me, but I haven’t washed my pair yet so am not sure how much they shrink (it’s almost laundry day;)

All of a sudden I need to visit the beach and I’m hungry for something really sinful!!

The towel was one we just happened to have about the house; as soon as I saw it hanging up in the bathroom I knew I had to get Dreamy Knee pictures with it.

I find they stay up fairly well; mine won’t stay up over the knee but if I cuff them then they’ll stay at my knees all day. They’re neither too warm nor too thin, being quite a nice layer for this crazy spring weather.

Sir Edmund used to love getting his picture taken, but the other day he was just annoyed that I woke him up. Morty, of course, loves all attention all the time, so he was no trouble. :) In fact while I was writing this, he demanded that I stop for a moment and pet him.

Love the post and all of the new colors–now I just have to figure out which ones to order.

If I didn’t know any better–I might accuse you of kitty stealing. Sir Edmund looks exactly like my kitty, Gretta. In fact, when I saw the pic I did a double take!!

  8. Amanda Says:

Apparently Ed has a few doppelgängers out there! One of my internet friends also has a cat that looks just like him.
