The legs arrived on Tuesday. And, although we didn’t think we needed them, I ordered some mannequins just for fun. Bsti & I put them together while Dara & Brigid toiled over the legs, setting them up and dressing them.
Yes, those are new Dreamy Knees!

We’re sure to change this around a few more times…
We had so much fun, the day flew by faster then we could believe.
And now, it is time for me to put on fresh socks and head back in…

i saw some of those legs sitting out last night while i was heading home… the store front is looking so awesome! i can’t wait to stop by and paw over everything. and snuggle lola again, it’s been too long!

Not fair!! I live in Texas and can’t enjoy the store in person–it looks like I would love it. I guess I’ll have to plan a trip.
Good thing you don’t have me working there–I’d be the one to take the mannequins and switch the arms with the legs, etc. I’ve always wanted to do that–have no idea why–just weird I guess. Oh well, don’t work in any type of clothing industry so all mannequins are safe!

Pleeeease tell me at least a couple people had a leg-sword fight or the like. :) I think it would be wonderful to rig a couple of the petticoats to hang above pairs of legs. :)

How much stretch at the top of the longer pippis? How do the tops of those compare to the long “scruffables”? :-)

The stretch is exactly like the original pippy, which can be increased with effort. They start out a little snug at 18 inches, but just wearing them causes them to stretch and if you get them wet at the tops and stretch them gently til they are dry it can increase by a few inches, maybe more. There is more elastic in the scruffables and they stretch to 19 inches with ease, but do not wet stretch as well.

Wow the sock shop is looking like a real fancy boutique! Love that dark brown cabinet that holds the foot products and some socks; very designer!!
:) Can’t wait for some new socks to come in~!

me too, and everything has been so crazy these past weeks…
on top of the store going together (it looks so beautiful and still has more to go) I’ve been seeing the fall lines and starting to select them. I only had time & where-with-all to get the new Betsey Johnson (uber-lacy/frilly!)and EG Smith eco/green line ordered today. They’re going in the store as soon as they arrive and will be added to the site over the coming weeks.
I had just nearly got caught up with new sock images (still many old ones to be reshot) when it all got so hectic and I am behind yet again, not far though.
… and right before the heavy hail started we were getting some of the new Two Brothers colors of hemp socks shot.
Tomorrow I will give a store update
…and promise not to pull an April Fools’ Day trick out of it ~=)

Well, tomorrow is supposed to be our soft opening, with a grand opening in May, but there has been so much buzzz around here that it may be more grand than planned ~;)

in the beginning hours will be 11-4 7 days a week, but due to a fire safety inspection it looks like noon for this Tuesday.

PS …the update we are doing today is not one that you will see, it is one for our backend that will streamline how we write orders and enter new stock as well as a long awaited wholesale log in. The next visible site update is due mid May ~=D
