Sock Dreams Logo by Echo X

Sock Dreams Logo, by Echo X
Here it is! Our official logo, by the amazing Echo Chernik.
The socks are based on our Dreamy Knees, the arm warmers are these
…and the blue lotus in her hand represents Lola.
(you didn’t know Lola is short for Lotus did you?)

Wow, this looks really great! Is the site going to get a makeover to incorporate the new logo?

  2. niqkita Says:

yes, we hope to be testing the long awaited update soon, by April. The first update will have the current system under the new design, with the new logo. Once we’ve got that all ironed out we’ll start with the upgrades like log ins and notifications and customer reviews.
Plus this will go on t-shirts and ads and post cards, anything and everything ~except for a couple of ads that went to print before this was ready
…but it was ready in time for our billboard next week ~=D

  10. Kerry Says:

    Yep, I love it too!
But OH My, the web site is changing? I’ve just gotten used to it and thought how beautiful it is. Maybe it’s just the purple…oh how I love purple. I’ll be visiting Portland the third week in March…maybe the store will be open? I bet you’re all sick of being asked that right? Ah, how we all love Sock Dreams! Thanks again, Kerry~

  11. niqkita Says:

Current word on the update for the site is June-ish, and do not worry, there will still be purple ~=D
We won’t quite be officially open the last week of March, but will certainly let you come in and see. April is the month we plan the store to be pretty much open and running, won’t announce a grand opening til we are sure we are ready.

    Love it! :) Beautiful!

  13. Amanda Says:

I kind of want it on a black tank top. Good for showing the sock love in summer when I’m less likely to be wearing socks.

  14. patricia Says:

    that is fabulous!

  15. Jennifer Says:

Love it–especially the colors! I had to laugh though when I looked at the pictures of Lola (she looks great in her purple jacket). I bought my dog, Rebel, a similar jacket–bright purple too (I love purple)–I told him how handsome he would look and how warm he would be, and as soon as I put it on him he stiffened up and would not move. I called him and he took three hesitant steps–raising each paw really high before putting it down–and then he was as still as a statue again. I tried for several days–putting it on and taking it off–thinking he would get used to it–but no–in his eyes it was a doggie torture device to be beaten only by standing deadly still. The blanket is now packed away. As Charlie Brown says, “Why can’t I have a normal dog like everyone else?” Oh well, I love him to death anyway.

I know I’m way off topic, but just had to share.

  18. KiWi Says:

this is kind of a random question but in the picture for the vinyl garter belt…is that a pair of tights thats been cut? i’ve always wanted to do that but i was afraid the ends would become horribly frayed or something lol

  19. niqkita Says:

they are the up & coming lemonaide stockings. Basic cotton tights frey very little when cut with good sharp scissors…

  20. niqkita Says:

    The billboard is up!!!
They just finished and I took pictures that I’ll put up here tonight.
It is right on top of our building on the east side…
If you are driving west on Powell, right before you cross the Ross Island Bridge, it will be on the right side of the street.
This is a very exciting day!

Lovely!! I’ve begged my mom for the past few days to take me to Sock Dreams… to fulfill my longing of new socks! Hehe, I think I’m beginning to get inside her head… I’m overjoyed that you all now have your first shop, and I can only hope that it will spread throughout the nations, into Europe and outer space! (Hey, even aliens gotta look good. ~;) ) Good luck and keep ‘em coming!

Wow, I didn’t know you had a store opening! It’s been a long time since I visited the site! XD

And I checked out Lola’s page. So adorable! And no, I didn’t know Lola was short for Lotus! That’s pretty nifty.

Good luck with your store. Have you made any progress with a Grand Opening date?
