I have so much to be thankful for… especially the little furball sleeping (and snoring) on my lap right now.

haha what a fabulous video! I am so very thankfull for you Niqkita, being brave enough to follow your passion of socks and bringing so much joy & inspiration into my life because of this. & I’m thankfull that you have a bunch of wonderfull helper peoples to keep you going and sane. :D I am also thankfull for the sense of community that has come out of this whole sock obsession. It’s a small thing to some, but the online sock family means the world to me. Thank you ALL! Lotsa love.

For me, it is precisely the sense of community that makes sock-dreams so special – so much more than a great store with excellent and unique products and outstanding customer service (as if this alone wasn’t a feat enough). I love the inspiring and accepting atmosphere that gently states: “Don’t be affraid to be yourself, to flaunt your body and your taste, to try something new and different. Dare. We are all beautiful.” I dream of the day we can all meet in person and have a sock party in that back yard with the magic-looking tree.
Thank you Niqkita and your wonderful team for giving us not just a product, but an entire experience – a fun and welcoming webspace where kindred spirits can meet new friends and share their love of socks and of life.

Can you imagine? We can all bring our sock collections and show off our favorites, try new styles, trade our less-than-loved pairs, have contests for “funniest socks”, “most creative layering”, “best color matching” etc.. We can have a corner with Sock Art for Sale – with paintings and framed photos of socks. We can do little activites like making sock-themed scapbooks or sock monkeys. We can generate ideas for new socks, color combos, or website features… And of course we can just eat, drink, dance, laugh, and be merry. Mmmmmm. Except, ww might need a whole weekend for all that… The Sock Fiends Annual Retreat! lol!!! =)))))

That would be sooo cool! EG and I have talked about doing something like that in NYC, but now that we almost have a store it would be easiest to do it here…
Three weeks of madness ahead here in sockland!!!
I had hoped to have the rest of the MPs added tomorrow, but due to a headcold I didn’t function at normal levels last week (nevermind the holiday or having my mom staying over for more days than planned) so, new stuff will be added Tuesday, any MP I have left should be up by the end of the week (I’m trying to group new stuff and just add it once a week, but extra items may slip in here and there). After that we’ll work on the private label stuff as time allows, we still don’t have it all and my plan was to add it all at once, but so much for planning. Other than that, some new ToeToes and B.ellas are headed our way because I just luff em sooo much!
…can’t say how much I’ll really get done in the coming weeks, but you know me, I’ll be trying even if I’m not quite succeeding!

this is definitely the greatest sock website i’ve found, i’m an avid customer and i’m not going anywhere :) thanks for providing us with more choices than we could ever handle, and continuing to tantalize myself and my boyfriend with your bounty of warmth :)
