O Lovelies on Raubynn
Raubynn has sort of been an unofficial sock girl and one of my dearest friends for at least a couple of years now. She, like so many of you, often has trouble getting socks to properly fit her above average feet & stems so a pair of the robin’s egg blue O Lovelies in the large size was a must try for her. And just like us she found the large size too large for her shoe size 10 toes, and just like us she loved them anyway. When she showed me her pictures I asked if I could share her results with all of you because her shoes are so darned pretty! We have the small size on its way to us now too…
I have to say I loved these on line from the first moment
…but then when I got them in my hands I wasn’t too sure
…and the foot was actually very large….
I just wasn’t sure…
although the look is what was in my memory from long ago
…after boiling them to shrink the feet (heehee) and actually wearing them around -
I really fell in love with them
…and they are so good with maryjanes- were not too thick at all…
loved the look and I loves the little - not too much - slouchiness of them….
very old fashioned I think….

the color is so soft on these…very beautiful…and i adore the ribbing.
and both sides stayed thru all my wearing them the way i had arranged them…
one side cuffed with a bit of scrunch…the other up over my knee. A+

Beautiful! Oh wait, *lovely*! ;) BTW: will there end up being more colors of these in the future?
And oh, I have to ask, even though I’m sure I’m going to regret it because I can’t afford it, BUT: where on earth did those shoes come from?! They are incredible!

*steals Raubynn’s shoes* *cries because they are not my size and gives them back* lol
*waits impatiently for the small lovelies for the medium are much too big on me*
I haven’t tried shrinking them yet(I never wash anything hot) so I’ll have to do them by hand in hot water… I wish I had a pair of silicone oven mitts… ;D

What is the difference between footless tights and tights with feet? Are footless tights leggings? Can a tunic that barely covers the bum be worn with footless tights and/or tights with feet? Mmmm? Cheryl, is this a philosophical question?

They are adorable. I am normally not a fan of acrylic, but I will probably have to order these when autumn comes.

footless tights have no feet, leggings have no feet, tights have feet, unless they are footless. I’d go for the thicker opaque leggings/footless tights for the shorter tops. Most of ours are on the light side for being worn with most bum-revealing tops for average daily public wear. I recommend the two nouvella styles, they are cotton and thick enough to not be at all revealing.

For darker colors: I wish, but right now only light shades, we’ll see if we can change that in the future, but from what I heard the effect didn’t work as well with the darker yarns…

THAT is a truly amazing sock photo.
It’s a perfect representation of the product.
I’d even be ink-lined to think this was Niqkita except I know her shoes.
THOSE are incredible shoes. And of course I saw Niq taking pix of these too (also in very cute shoes) and found them quite enticing. Sometimes the shoe really compliments the sock.

OMG you guys…just OMG….i am so happy…..squeely happy….this is the sweetest thing ever….like birthday present or something….wow….awww gee! if i wasnt here at work i think i would have for real broken down crying happy tears!
and the shoes i watched for awhile- at Victoria Secret- finally on sale…Vince Camuto….
and EG dahhhhlin….i am crushed if i miss a review by you because of my notes on these lovelies…

Ohh so glad to hear these stay up well. How long are they from heels to tops? I’m wondering whether they will go up and over my knees. Are they about as long as the O pastels (the only O Basic variety I have tried)?

Hello all! I’m new and destined to be a Sock Dreams devotee! I’ve actually started putting money aside every week so I can splurge on a new pair regularly!
I’m sold on the O Lovelies, but I have ANOTHER shoe question: First, I’m hunting these very shoes down because they’re amazing (however, hard to come by). I’m greedy, though, and want two pairs of fabulous shoes so I would like to know who is wearing the gorgeous pumps in the picture for the small mist grey O Lovelies.
Can anyone steer me in the right direction? They quite look like Camutos, actually, but I haven’t had any luck finding them.
