New gloves and..
I’ve been eyeing these gloves for some time…
so I gave Bruce the go ahead on ordering them recently
…along with a few other new yummy items from Leg Avenue.
For stuff we haven’t seen in person we’ve taken to starting with a small order to test and that’s what we did, so for now we only have a few pairs to sell, but I liked them enough to go ahead and put them up before the reorder arrives (should be within a week). I’m not going to wait til then to tell you about them though because I’m sure to be excited over something else by then (like my new purple office!!!).
We passed a list of potential new items around to see how everyone at Sock Dreams felt about them and the sheer pin striped thigh highs above got mixed results, I thought they at least deserved a chance and I’m glad I did. Up close you can see the edges of the black threads through the sheer white part, but at a slight distance it’s not so bad. I think they look pretty spiffy! …and they were really soft and stayed up perfectly without any help. Of course, the down side to nylon thigh highs that stay up perfectly without help can be a little denting/bulging in the thighs and they do indeed do that, not too badly though. I adjusted them a bit and kept the bottom of my dress over the tops of the stockings and voila, no visible dent or bulge to be seen.
They come in two sizes & the stripes run nearly all the way to the toes…
and the best part?
these aren’t even the cutest items of this batch!

Oh wow!!!!!! The latest thigh highs with the lace trim and pink ribbon? Simply cuteness incarnate! I don’t even wear nylon thigh highs and I MUST have these! The cuttest nylong stockings I’ve ever seen. Sooooo sooo soooo yummy!!!

yea, those are gorgeous! Do they snag easily? It looks like the sheer part might run easily? But Leg Avenue is known to make some pretty durable stockings, so I dunno, they could be alot tougher than I think. Absolutely lovely though.

the ones with pink ribbons don’t snag easily at all, we’re getting a full order of them in today, I really like them, but I’m going to try sewing the toes shorter. I should do a full review, maybe later today when I know the order is in and we’re all stocked. As usual we have ever more stuff ready to try, photograph & add with days flying by faster than ever amidst all the moving, planning and arranging, but I promise I’ll be adding actual socks soon too!!!

ok then i am holding off til you say everything is up…this order looks so full of good stuff! i am fighting the urge to order because i know the second i do you will put more goodies up and then i will have to order again and then i will have to write seventeen hundred notes and apologies about double orders ;)

Sooo, we only got half the order on Friday, the pin stripes are all stocked up, but the ribbon tied lace stockings are coming today and I have a full review ready to go…
