My Monday morning with Margaret
Here I am having a late morning at home after working twelve hour days for Pride this weekend. I always watch the local news in the morning just in case there is something I should know before I leave the house. When it was over I was about to turn off the tv so I could go out and walk the dogs, but since my ever amazing assistant Kori insisted I not hurry in I decided to see who was on The View first. When I saw that Margaret Cho was the guest host I had to watch, I love Margaret! she’s ordered from us a few times in the past including once a few weeks ago. I put that order together myself and included a pair I remembered being her fav from previous orders. So Barbara Walters introduces her and insists she get up and show off her stockings, I gasped, Lola worried and offered a blast of kisses, OMG! yes, those are a pair I pulled for that order, and there she is wearing them and being admired by the world!!! I quickly checked her website and was happy to find her blog complete with the above picture of her wearing them during her True Colors tour. Quick, someone pinch me, I think I’m dreaming! Thank you Margaret!!!

Every notice that things in your life that you love seem to come full circle back to you?
Lately I’ve been an information junkie about Rosie O’Donnell… saw her on the news and agreed with her Views (pun intended), then read her book “find me” (loved it), and since have become an admirer who reads her blog regularly… Rosie blogged about the True Colors tour and I nearly fell off my chair when I read about it (the list of artists involved reads like a who’s who of many of the performers who’s music accompanied very intense parts of my life and therefore won my heart and adoration … ie: cyndi lauper (who is was and always will be my fav), erasure, indigo girls, blondie, etc.)
Now I come here to my home away from home Sock Dreams where my dear friend runs her fantastically unique world and find that our sock dreams have touched gloriously funny (not to mention gorgeous legged) Margaret Cho who is right along with Cyndi and Rosie doing true colors (wish I could get to see that show). I just love how everything overlaps like that. How I adored Cyndi, and of course socks, then I found sockdreams, later seperately found and liked Rosie who had already found Cyndi and Margaret who also found sock dreams and here I am finding that so many things that I like individually have connections in one way or another. That is so cool. Hmmm… that make sense?
She looks amazing in those stockings too!

Lovely tights and AWESOME shoes.
BTW, there will be a review of the SuperBasics soon. I have recently had surgery on my foot and the bandage has kept me from taking any cool photos, but today I’m removing the stitches.
