New Cronerts!!!

Spring’s in bloom
When the first batch of solid colored Cronert OTKs were a hit I decided to order every other color I could. It had to be a large order as they are not readily available in this country at this time of the year. It arrived from Germany last week and Simone promptly brought them over for us just as we were down to our last few black pairs
~now that’s what I call perfect timing!

Over my knees and your knees

There were minor glitches with the order, no ecru til next time and the light orange are only in small (I’ve seen the small stretch to fit large feet though so if you really like the shade you might want to try them anyway). I’d love to see a better range of colors; four of these are quite similar but I’m sure there will be more in the future.
four very similar shades of Cronert OTKs
from top down: Wine, Violet, Aubergine & Pink
The wine & violet were our big favorites of these, both are gorgeous. The violet is very dark, not the least bit bright, like a black plum in the heat of summer. The wine seemed extra soft to me and are my personal pick of the batch…
When I put them on it was as if I’d always had them, so familiar and comfy.

We’ve had a ton of positive feedback about the fit and quality of these. If you can fit them in to your budget they will be a wise investment worthy of your finest shoes…

    <20hrs :O)

  2. niqkita Says:

    What color do you want?

  3. hoyan Says:

the first photo is literally breathtaking. we have these socks here in holland, they’re wonderful!

  4. Amanda Says:

Oh wow… the aubergine is absolutely beautiful. I bet in colder weather they’d look fabulous with the inky violet EG Smith tights I have.

  5. niqkita Says:

Indeed they would! In fact, the violet is very close to EGS Inky, not as much red to it though.

Thanks Hoyan! I was having fun with my wide angle lens.

  6. Brandy Says:

This is a big tease. There are a few Cronerts that I like. These solids look super special. I think I’m going to get the wine. I like the light orange too as it’s close to my favorite color yellow. The Cronerts are the best.

  7. Cheryl Says:

Oh goodness, I DESPERATELY need a pair of these–or maybe five!! LOL. The Olive and Dark Brown were already on my list, but yesterday I had to add the Wine and Aubergine, too.

*wishing I had the money to afford them right now* But then it worries me: are these going to continue being available, or are they something that could, at any unexpected time, not be available?

  8. EG Says:

    Ohhhh boy…

    Dark Brown,

    no wait… fushia,
    no maybe instead… black,
    and those violet look amazing…
    no it’s the olive…

but then again the wine looks lovely too…

    I can’t pick.

  9. niqkita Says:

    hee hee, tough choice huh?

Cheryl, I *think* we’re safe. At this point the only thing is that I have to meet a minimum to get them, but as long as we meet that minimum we can get them. I have no intentions of dropping Cronert from our selection (in fact, am working on a deal to be able to offer many more from them after we move;) Likewise, as far as I know, Cronert has no intention of dropping these ~:D

  10. EG Says:

I just looked at the product pics of the Aubergine… it’s like fall and wine and cozy comfort feelings.. something familiar… I think maybe when I was a child, my dad had a sweater/vest or something that color. Isn’t it amazing how a simple color can trigger a flood of cozy/familiar/safe memories that aren’t necessarily crystal clear, but instead it all comes out as an immediate attaction to the color or item itself. I love that.

  11. Cheryl Says:

Will there be a picture of the Dark Beige being worn?

  12. Babylon Says:

I wish money weren’t so tight this month *sigh* that’s my fault anyway lol

    I like your shoes! :)

  13. Sierra Says:

Same Babylon. Theres so much I want this much-Why is it I get the craving to spend money when I don’t have any?

  14. Senna Says:

Aaaaaah more Cronerts… I’m willing to do just about anything to get those in a thigh high. Do they make them? I think Miss Rebeckah and I alone will meet the minimum quantity requirement for an order =)
    *Squeak squeak*

  15. GothicCharmSchool Says:

My goodness, those are pretty. But I’m just as fascinated by the shoes you’re wearing in the last photo! Where did you find them?!

  16. Eva Says:

Mmm. The dark beige looks perfect for autumn. And, since I have the ecru, I know how wonderful they feel and fit.

  17. Rebeckah Says:

oh all those colours are so beautiful! Oh yea Miss Senna! Thigh highs of these would be SOOOOO awesome! We need more solid coloured thigh highs in cotton. I know I keep saying it… Ikeep hoping.. ;) *squeak* lol.

  18. Rebeckah Says:

hmmm. I wondered why my comments haven’t been showing up, and I looked and found it was marked as a spam comment, so I un-spammed my comment. That is very strange.

  19. niqkita Says:

that’s also happened to EG, we haven’t figured out why yet though.

None longer yet, but it could happen one of these days…

Those shoes are Betsy Johnsons, I got them from Zappos

  20. holli Says:

Just when I think I can wait for my credit to place another order.. I see these. There is no way I can wait. I need them - NOW.

What is this fascination with socks? I think I need counseling!!

    I heart the Cronerts.
