As for the capris we haven't had a valid larger calved testing yet, but will shortly. In my opinion they have great-comfy stretch at the ankles and should not be a problem... My trouble with capri leggings is that the bottom cuff is so tight I always get a gross calf bulge, and given that my calves are entirely muscle I don't think it's terribly fair.
