My brain is OATMEAL…
but my SOCKS are ADORABLE!!!

Everyone I’ve spoken with lately seems to have been touched by a recent barrage of “murphy’s law syndrome” (several days, or weeks of nothing but things going a bit wonky). I find it difficult to make any sort of decision when my brain is stressed from these goings on, and therefore it was nearly impossible to make a choice when it came to how I wanted to wear my super fantastic Crochet Net Thigh Highs today. For most of the time today I ended up wearing a different look on each leg… I simply just didn’t have the ability to chose :O)

Initally, I thought I wanted to wear the Opaque Thigh High with Bows under the Crochet Nets (I wanted to emphasize the lovely lacy pattern by showing some bright white underneath, and I thought the bows peaking out on top would be so cute). They really looked great like this… and the only minor issue I ran into was that the Opaque Thigh Highs tended to do that little ‘roll up’ thingy on top which left me looking like I was a stocking roller of the 20’s. I must say though, that the bowed thigh highs (I am wearing the plus sized) really can take on the larger legged. Alhough they didn’t quite make it in length up past my mid thigh… they happily could take on at least 26 inches in width at the top. They do seem a bit more sheer than I thought, but they really are sweet looking and the bows are totally cute. One word of caution on these, put them on gently (maybe even invest in a stocking glove (didn’t we used to sell those too?))… I never got to wear my black pair as I ripped them putting them on for the very first time (I was way over enthusiastic and clumsy).
I also tried my Plus Size Stripes Tights under the Crochet nets. The red and black stripes look really fun under the laced pattern (almost like a plaid!), and the finishing touch just had to be the pompom garters. I love this look! The Stripes tights are great on wider legs and there was lots of room in the waist and butt area (the body portion was sooo stretchy I could bring the waist up all the way to where my bra was (not like you’d ever really want to do such a thing, but nice/strange to know you could should the desire compel you)…unforturnately though they didn’t have enough leg length on me to quite reach the crotch (so if you are both taller and wider these might pose a length problem in those near and upwards of 5′9″ tall or 35″+ in leg length).

Oh, How adorable!
I have been eye-ing those crochet thigh highs for months, but never gotten around to ordering them. I thought they looked too much like nets, which I have a lot of already, so I couldn’t justify buying them. I never thought about wearing them with the thigh highs with bows, which otherwise are one of my favourites; comfortable, large enough, stay up and last quite long too. I think I need to order some.

They are so very sexy. I love them. They’re definitely coming out for my Valentine’s Day celebration.

ZOMG! Lookit the new comment window. eek! Google is taking over the world… no wait, that’s AT&T. ;)
well, cute post as always EG. I love the look of switching them up. I have the ones without the ribbon. They look exactly the same as these, but are they?

I wish that my bare legged Crochet Net pics had come out clear enough … The pattern on these is just so great (you can see it very clearly on our Niq in the product shot), totally reminds me of all the funky patterns on legwear in the 60’s. Grab a mini dress and a pair of ankle boots and you’re set.
The stretch on them was surprising too… I was so afraid I wouldn’t be able to fit them, but loved the look of them and I just had to try. They really are pretty friendly to the larger legged too (and the vertical lines formed by the pattern seem to slenderize the leg). YAY and Double Yay :O)

wow so many great variations with these, I know I have a pair here somewhere, I’d put them on some time soon if it wasn’t eight thousand degrees below zero lol
great job EG :)

You know waht I di, don’t you? Just after I posted that I went and ordered crochet thigh highs and white thigh highs with bows ( I only had black w. red bows before).
I am so weak when it comes to temptations.

Gosh, I’ve been secretly in love with these this whole time, but afraid they might not stay up well or be too tight or even just look too much like fishnets! Crochet Nets are definitely on my must-buy list now :).

These are so pretty. I don’t think I’d have the patience. It takes all I have for short socks. They sure do look good though.

Very cute, I wore my white with bows with fishnets with back seams. Looks pretty similar to these pics. But then with the red underneath looks completely different. Surprised your bows thigh highs ran though, I’ve had really good luck with mine. It’s usually the sheer stuff that does it for me.
