Quick, before they’re gone again!
We have the lovely Ozone Angora Jambieres back in beige this year! For those of you unfamiliar with them, they’re a lovely soft angora blend ribbed OTK that stay up at least to your knees and do wonderfully with sock garters. I like to sleep in mine, too, as the natural fibers make them quite wonderfully breatheable and oh-so-soft for snoozing. You may get a tad bit itchy from these at first; a washing will do them good and you’ll likely quickly get used to the feel of the fibers. You should wash these in the gentle cycle (or by hand if you’d rather) and can then hang dry them or lie them flat to dry (I usually hang mine over the shower rod).
I slept in my Jambieres last night and stayed quite cozy, but I also like to dress them up and go out sometimes…
As you can see, I used a pair of black Pompom Sock Garters to keep them up and offset the outfit (their fuzziness works well with the fuzzy angora). The black pompom garters are nicely stocked right now, and the white will be back in stock shortly. I prefer to usually wear mine just over the knees, especially if I’m in boots, and I like to scrunch my socks down to cover the elastic so that just the pompoms show, like so:
However you wear your socks, or your sock garters, here’s hoping that your holiday shopping gets done and your toes stay toasty!

Ah, those particular boots were a Hot Topic boot that I picked up after they’d cleared ‘em out at Electrique Boutique (love them, awesome shipping rates and great prices and selection…a bit of a tough-to-nav site, though). :)

also, as long as you check in every 24 hours the cart will hold items indefinitely, or til we run out of your socks (we can’t let you hold them forever you know ~;)

I’m curious to know how they fit too, I suspect they aren’t as stretchy…

Hey, ISY, there is an easily accessible “Contact Us” form that you could use for actual questions like this, where they would be more easily answered by knowledgeable staff. It’s over on the right-hand side; click “Contact.”

I *think* we are ikay in the ribs, at least we are right now, but this is the week when things can sell like crazy out of no where. Not sure when they’ll restock, an order is in, could be later today, might not be for two weeks,…

oh and orkney wrist dealies! ooooo my perfect solution to my glove malice… I could wear them over my hand between the car and wherever I’m going but not have to fumble with where to put a pair of gloves when I get inside, I can just push ‘em up :D

wow. I have 6.5 feet. Does anybody with small feet have these?

Hm…I have a question. What color of the O Chevrons with White details would look good with tan, yellowy Asian skin? I really like the dark red and white combo, but I already have a ton of reddish socks, and I’m trying to buy all different colors–if I break this rule, I’ll end up with way too many socks to count. Anyway…so what do you guys think? I was thinking of the lavendar & white, but I’m wondering if the colors contrast enough. I like a nice dark/light contrast.

Is your ordering page broken? I’m trying to pay with visa, and I can’t see any way to do it. I’ve consulted your information section and everything. Grr. And I know that in a short time the shopping bag will clear… you could have it set longer than twenty four hours. I like your socks, but MAN. Your site has problems.

Yeti: are you non-US? If so, the site won’t let you pay with visa – paypal only :(

OMG!! I had a red pair that I wore everyday everywhere until I wore them out. They were so fabulous. I’m going to salvage the yarn and knit them into something else.

oh yea, how do the feet fit? are they formed heels?
December 6th, 2006 at 1:18 pm
what a cute outfit Shelle! and you’re wearing them without any sock underneath? SO I must conclude that the itch is not bad with these then? I’ve wanted these for a long while & once I get some sock money I hope I can buy a pair… I just adore soft fuzzy stuff.

i gotta tell you how much i love the pom-pom sock garters. i have the pink ones and the cherries and i fall in love with them all over again every time i wear them. :D

Really cute. I have resisted the pom-pom sock gartes for a long time now, thinking that maybe the’re not suitable for a 38 years old doctor of History (as if the rest of my sock choices are, I wore the glittery nets to work). But the temptation is so great.
