Plum & Lilac
one of my new favourite colour combinations for an all-time favourite sock
This pair of Super Stripes are a bit longer than most of my other ones. They make it almost up to the top of my leg, but they don’t quite stretch enough width-wise to get all the way. I usually wear between size 8-9 in shoes(the ones I’m wearing are 8.5) and I tend to prefer the smaller footed version.
The best thing about these socks is that they match my new running shoes. ;) well they’re not that new lol

I wish my super stripes stretched that high! Do they actually stay up for you when you move around? I find when I wear mine as high as they’ll go (mid thigh-ish maybe) that they slip down and scrunch around my knees and ankles all day. It’s why I’m addicted to super knees since that’s where my super stripes end up anyway!

most of the time they stay up for a while and then need a bit of adjustment. My black/Lavender ones always fall down really fast though lol

We had some thigh high Neapolitans made earlier this year, but when we ran out we didn’t restock to conserve space. Maybe Alicia will consider bringing them back in after the holidays…

I was having problems with the white-balance lol no more photos in green rooms for me! the shoes incidentally are plum and lilac where the stripey area is and on the arch area of the sole. but grey everywhere else

for reference out of all the ones I have, the seafoam & natural and seafoam & lilac smaller footed super stripes have the smallest feet, they just barely fit me.

the widest part of my thigh is about 20″, I measured the top of the sock stretched and it was about 19″

The eyeball ones crack me up. There’s a portrait of Elizabeth I wearing a dress all covered in eyes, and ears, and what might be lips and might be vulvas. I can’t help wondering what she’d think of those socks!

I just bought some black and army Super Stripes.. I have ordered other thigh-highs from this site and various other stripey nylon ones over the years.. and nothing has ever fit around my 22″ thighs comfortably. I am glad to report, these super stripes did! I am in love with my super stripes, I plan on ordering a couple more. The only flaw in these is that they don’t stay up very well - but that’s easy enough to fix, I just stuck a small band of elastic under the knee, and that keeps them up on the thigh just fine.
