Show me your socks!
Here they are, the Vertically Inclined Stockings.
When we launched the new shopping cart just over a week ago I asked you all to give it a test run, offering surprise socks in return with a special request that you tell us your favorite sock from Sock Dreams and your fav color. I used those as guidelines and in a few cases chose something entirely different to send some of you. For those who didn’t get a pair don’t worry, you’ll get a chance soon, but first, I want the rest of you who did get a pair to send us your photos of them, post links to them here in the comments if you like (bonus points for proper use of HTML tags~;) We’ll choose the photos we like best to use on their page, that’s right, this is your opportunity to get your sock shots used here at Sock Dreams, for all the world to see. I’ll also gladly post your photos and reviews here in the journal once we have them on the site to sell. Images should be 72-100 dpi jpgs at 400×600-ish and I’d like to get this done by next week because each of you got one color and there are five to be had! and yes, we can do them in light shades too, but first, the dark shades of winter.

I’m pretty sure mine are actually with grey details (though it’s my pasty white legs that make it look so much whiter… oh wait, I’m supposed to call it alabaster, or milky white skin right? (makes it sound so much prettier than pasty.. lol).

WOW… the green are great! I love your kitty’s eyes! All these people with great socks and great pets! Perhaps there is some sort of cosmic pet-sock connection hmmm? tee hee

*giggles* I told my boyfriend that my shot ended up getting used and he’s all elated about dating a sock model…I’m highly amused and willing to let him keep thinking like that…as long as he doesn’t start listing it as my profession…which he very well might “That’s my woman…Student, Artist, and SOCK MODEL!!!” XD

Gah! I just realized, after taking pictures of my magenta/blacks, that I forgot the USB cable for my camera back at school! I was way excited to upload them, but I suppose I’ll have to wait until I get back Sunday. Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving, wearing the socks was great, they’re so comfy, and they stayed up amazingly well, better than my O Chevrons!

Lots to say about these… I think I’ll do a full review on them soon! In the meantime… bigger legs be not afraid, these can actually work on 17″ calves :O)

Woooo Eva! Yours are so pretty! They look almost blue! Alas, I too was unable to buy some socks, hence receiving the specially lovely vertically inclineds… I suppose I’ll just have to wait until I can purchase them. : )

No pictures, but I just got my order and I figured this is as good a time as any to reply! I LOVE the vertical stockings. They’re totally amazing. The walnut/lavendar stripes are beautiful. And my cat enjoyed the string you tie everything up with. Thank you!

wow…these really are fantastic….and i love the solid foot sole as seen in Shell’s linky….really beautiful these are….i think these might take the place of my favs the ink-lined. wow again….lovely pics everyone….really great ppl here as always.

Today I wore rainbow thigh-highs to school (not showing, though–it was too cold to bare my legs) and we had a math quiz. I felt really confident and smart in my socks, and I’m pretty sure I aced it! These socks have magic powers! Thanks again!

aw those are scrumptuous! Is the coloured part the mesh or the stripe? I won’t be able to buy anything until next month at least, so I’m ok with you not updating socks yet. lol. ;) I’ll upload an angora review today you can post whenever you want.

I got mine in black/magenta, and I’m going to take some pictures tonight hopefully, once I get home for the Holiday^^. I’m very excited to put them on for a while, I’ve only gotten the chance to try them on for a little bit so far, they’re very pretty.

I got mine last week, they’re great! I have fairly long legs (35/36″) and they went up past my knees and stayed there better than most. Mine are in the laundry now (which I’m doing tomorrow), so maybe I’ll get a picture of them later this week. Oh, and mine are Magenta. :)

They’re super stretchy — my calves are about 15 1/2″ around and they fit quite well. Similar fit to the O Chevrons, I think. I have to upload a picture too! I got the Kelly Green and Black ones and I LOVE THEM! I wore them yesterday!

I’ll get right on that! Once the boyfriend is awake anyway . . . He did something weird with my camera settings and I’m going to make him fix it. (It’s not nice to set your girlfriends camera to weird low light non focusing modes to try and take pictures of the kitten in the dark . . . lol) Thanks again for the lovely Vertically Inclineds! They’re soooo pretty! I like how the color part is very light, almost like mesh!

Oh, what a nice concept! I got a pair of these in lovely black, and I was pleasantly surprised by how well they fit! yay!!!

It’s about 444 by 600, I hope that’s close enough. If not I can probably fiddle with it some more.

Ooooo!! I will certainly have some photos for you! =D And I even have someone slightly experienced in photography that can help me out. And I have pretty good html kung fu–I think my website is enough evidence of that, considering it is 100% designed and operated by me. Most likely, I can provide a few photos for you to choose from, considering that my “photographer” would be delighted to take way too many pics of me in these wonderfully sexy socks.
