Ultra Sheer, Ultra Sexy!

These Ultra Sheer Cuban Heel Stockings with Satin Bows
are the most fabulous pair of stockings that I have ever tried from Leg Avenue! These are like a true vintage stocking in all it’s glory! Backseamed with a cuban foot and they are sooooo soft and silky. They’re doing that sexy, yet innocent combo that I love so much. Even the sexy backseam is an innocent pale pink. The colour is so light it almost looks white. And just look at the decoration of this cute little bow with bead dangles on it:

These are truly *Ultra Sheer* as the name says. They’re so sheer you can see the freckle on my left foot. Even the toe cap which is a thicker weave is so sheer it shows my polish. Good thing I just did a pedi. teehee.

You’d think the sheerness would make them prone to run, but I haven’t gotten any. Leg Avenue makes some pretty durable stockings. These do require a suspender/garter belt to keep them up, they won’t stay up on their own. Since they’re a more traditional type of stocking they don’t pull downwards as much as other stockings with lots of spandex/lycra do. Just perfect for a classy night out or an intimate night in. ;)

We just rrestocked almost all the Leg Avenue styles we were out of too. I still have three boxes to get through tomorrow, but I got most of them checked in and put away today, including all of the lace up thigh highs (except the velvet which we are not bringing back).

Lovely post! Those are so pretty and girlie… I’m wondering how you think the feet would be on larger sizes?

So pretty! Innocent/sexy *is* one of the coolest combos. Subtle… makes you look twice :)

These are really pretty. I have the black with red cuban heels and was actually really surprised at how nice they were, they are really silky and just feel awesome on your legs. Much higher quality than I expected, not that the stripes I have are bad quality either, but those just felt extra nice and silky.

Thanks anyway Rebeckah :O) The reason I was wondering is because on most modern nylon stockings there is not really a true formed foot and therefore no problem with larger feet… however I noticed in your pictures that the pink cuban heel area looked to fit your little feet so well that I was concerned that they might not fit mine. I guess I’ll have to try em to see for myself :O)

So pretty! My legs are too scarred up from when I was a kid to get away with sheer though. Alas, if they weren’t these would so be on my list. I guess I should’ve listened to my mom and not scratched my flea bites hehehe.

EG - the last time I tried a pair of the Cuban heels from Leg Avenue, they stretched to fit my feet alright. :)

Do you think you’d be able to snip off the bows without harming the stockings?

well, it looks as if there’s one thread stitched through the middle of the bow, so if you cut it on the front side {not to cut the nylon} maybe so. I think the real issue will be if you can peel off the glue on the back without running the nylon. I picked at it a bit and it seemed to come off alittle, but I like the bows so I’m not going to pull it off completely to see. I’ve had rotten luck anytime I take scissors to a fine hosiery, so I can’t say for sure…. but there’s one stitch & glue holding the bow on, so it seems possible. Let us know if you do it successfully.
