Looking forward to more argyles…
The lovely Simone brought us these about a week ago, they are really beautiful in four colors and two foot sizes. Daffodil grabbed up several pairs as soon as she saw them and asked me how much they’re going to be. ” Well, it depends, I’ll give you a great deal if I can take some pictures of you in them” I replied and a deal was struck. So the next day I snapped this one at our central desk and several more on the stairs. I need to get a few more shots and finish editing them and if this week is slower than last as it always has been in the past I hope to get it done in the coming days so you can see and buy them all. And for those of you who do not yet know Daffodil, she is in charge of customer service most days, handling emails, returns & mail orders as well as several other sockie tasks. She even makes me coffee most mornings. Bsti & I have known her for nearly nine years having worked with her previously at Trader Joe’s. She’s got small size sixish feet, has larger legs than I and had no idea how much she loved socks before she came to work for us last October.

Hmm….I am new here and already have spent too much money! I love argyles and feel a large purchase in the near future!

Sorry, turns out this week has been even busier than last week which was busier than our busiest week last December. But it is calming down which should last almost a week AND the new shoipping cart is really nearly ready (deep breaths, toes crossed, it will all work fine and really will happen this time)… so I (and everyone else here at SD) am completely exhausted at the end of the day but am really excited to get these added, soon, soon and yeah, Daff tells me they are tight on her ~:( we got tights too and I believe they came in sizes…. oh my oh my, if you guys only new of the treasures I am sitting on in this mass of sock appeal that is upon us… but I’m not adding anything till after the new cart is up & running (live inventory, no more overselling our stock!!!)

Do they pinch at the tops at all? Those look supercute, but my worry as of late has become finding socks that do not pinch my skin at the tops, and lucky for me I prefer knee-high or OTK. It’s related to a health issue I have, and unfortunately it’s already resulted in me folding my SITMs down 3-4 inches when I wear them. :(

I keep checking back and hoping that those argyles will be up. Is there any kind of discount if I buy more than one color? LOL

Ooooh, I was really excited until I saw the price. I guess I will just enjoy looking at the pictures once you get them up. :) How about the Sock It To Me Argyles — any chance of more colors there? I have the brown ones and they’re my favorite socks.

oh yea! I get really uncomfortable using models. They just stand there with a fake look on their face waiting for me to move them around, like they forgot how to bend their body. lol. Only 2ce have I shot ppl who went *all out* and had fun being spontaneous and trying things out. & those pics were fabulous!!! A good model makes good pics. imo

I’m a lurker, but wanted to take this opportunity to publically declare Daffodil to have the best attitude of any customer service person I’ve encountered shopping online. I had a couple of problems with only my second order (aw), and normally that’d make me too nervous to order again. Daffodil’s warm responses, however, really made me feel like I’d never have to worry if a problem arose again.

They are OTK on me ~;) it’s interesting because the larger foot size is also a little longer, but Daff has small feet with those thicker legs we’ve been requested to show more of (though in person I have honestly never noticed). As some of you know I have social anxieties, not super bad most times, nearly crippling other times, among my reasons for not working with models is a certain discomfort I’ve always had with taking pictures of people but I feel quite comfy with my employees, so viola, if they are willing to model for me I’m going to use them ~:)

daff sure has cute stems… and all of those argyles are soooo yummy. some of the prettiest argyles i’ve ever seen!

PS they’re Cronert label and will be $30 per pair, not per sock, ouch I know, but the quality, very high quality and sooo pretty!
