an opinion that is, and you know what they say about those.
Message:
My wife was looking for something to keep her legs a bit warmer this winter. We found your site, but couldn’t stand looking at it after a while. Almost all the photographs we looked at were poor at best. In some photos we couldn’t even hardly tell what we were looking at. The idea of the model taking a picture of her own legs is lame. I cannot get a good view of your product like that. My wife is a graphics designer so she knows good design from bad and said the design and concept for many of your sock pictures is poor design. Without having the product right in front of us we need detailed and/or well executed photos of the product to make a fair judgment of the product. I really hate to stay this, but you may have lost a sale because your photographer was trying to be artistic and creative and was not focusing on showing us what we need to know. It looks like you may have some really good products, but we both agreed that with the photographs we looked at it would be impossible to make a decision based on them.
You can’t please everybody and I stopped trying some time back. We get so many letters everyday saying something quite contrary that I only let it bug me for a few minutes. And it only bugged me because I’m quite tired after working 11 hours on a day so busy that we couldn’t even answer the phone and still get all the orders out (we did get all the orders out & called everyone back though). That’s with five of us working all day. So, apparently hundreds of other people were able to decide what they wanted, with dozens of them writing in their praise for our efforts every day. Plus, it’s not like I’m taking all the pix of myself for some form of glory, no it just happens to be a very cost effective method, plus there are tons of shots on the site of other legs, many of me that I didn’t actually take myself, several I’ve taken of other people ~and more to come because I have so much going on I can’t keep up lately.

Gah! I really don’t like idiots, and this guy definetly falls under the idiot umbrella. As many said before, trying to make an argument like that makes you look like an ass, and you look like a bigger ass if you don’t provide proof of what the “bad” organization is and what “good” organization is. I’d ramble more, but I think everyone above me pretty much covered everything. I love you guys and your socks! Keep up the good work!!

wouldn’t it be cool to have sock parties instead of tupperware parties? all the socky catalogs out for perusal, all sorts of samples and designs to be oooh’d and aaah’d over… perhaps a “sock retreat”.

We’re currently pursuing a receptionist we know who recently left her job. If for any reason she isn’t interested or available we will definitely have a position open. I’ve been waiting til I know more before posting anything about help needed. We just lost one of our weekday emps this week so this need was rather sudden and unexpected…

I think the letter would have been a lot better if he included links to what he was looking to buy and the “confusing” pictures and what questions he had about the particular items. That would make sense. Something’s confusing and you’re writing a letter, ask about the confusing item, don’t put down the whole place in general cuz YOU couldn’t find what you wanted. Plenty of other people have NO PROBLEM finding what they wanted plus 5 more things they fell in love with in the process.

I hope I didn’t sound preachy with my early morning brain fog. Great popularity usually brings jealous critics. It’s just part of success & I don’t like seeing anybody getting upset over that. It’s a sign of success, you know? & I think it’s fabulous that you’re having such great success with your business. You’ve grown so much, so fast and still manage to be a great company with a personal touch. That’s what makes you so special, so loved and so successfull.

I like your pics. They are a bit “different,” but I think they show the socks as you will see them as you wear them. I don’t think they will “lose sales” for you, just the opposite. Keep up the good work!

I think you should hire some more help you’ll get busier as xmas approaches and I don’t want to stop ordering like I did last year cuz I was trying to make it easier for you. I love ya Niq, and I don’t like hearing that your exhausted from overwork. Get some rest, hire more help, go play.

you know, some people are just haters. And they’re so good at hating that they drag everyone else they can down with them into anger and hatred. That’s what makes them feel powerfull. If you feel anything bad for this moron then he’s succeeded in his evil plans of hatred, right? Do something better with your time, ignore him. Spread love instead, go play with your socks. that’ll show him! hahahaha. haters hate to be ignored.

My first response to that letter was: Ok, dude, these are SOCKS, man. You really need to keep things in perspective. Your overall investment might be about 10 dollars a pair, and as such, it’s not a huge finacial setback even if you end up hating the pair you picked out. Get a life and stop criticizing honest hardworking creative people who are doing a great job AND offering us free shipping. You really need to get that stick out of your……nose. yeah.

i KNOW i am excessively emotional…i KNOW i can barely handle when people purposely go out of their way to hurt those i love…i KNOW anyone who actually is a professional would not ever have written something like that…i KNOW this person feels wronged somehow or cheated or something by Niq and what she has created…or jealous…something negative…it is ridiculous….did this person send any examples of said great works they have created along with these nasty mean words? i am here and only here in Niq’s home because i have ALWAYS felt comfortable here…felt visually stimulated….felt safe…and felt secure that i will get a quality product that matches EXACTLY to the descriptions and pictures here…i KNOW i would never have ANY of these products (speaking here now of the ones available of other sites) if i had viewed them off other sites….i HAD viewed them and never bought some of them until viewing them here and discovering their actual beauty…still thru all these things i know and also KNOWING that this person wanted this exact response still i sat here at work and felt a bad flush thru my body, a tightening in my throat, my eyes fill up as i read these words filled with hatred and envy…i cannot stand for one second that people who apparently cannot even connect up who the heck Ms. Niq is in the creating of this site and the dream socks can make such a negative difference…the internet is bad for many reasons and one is that cowards can act like they have balls….
