When I put the pea Oyummys on I was so pleased that they come up mid thigh on me, a perfect sock length! During the day they slid down a bit so the ribbed cuff was starting right over my knee. Still a good length. They required a little more pulling up throughout the day, but I’m suspecting that is because my legs are so woefully thin. I love the knubby texture, it adds a pattern without the visual business of an actual pattern. I also love that these are a thinner sock, so they’re great for in between seasons, like now. My legs were comfy and didn’t get too hot.

Because these are a thinner sock, {thinner than M43s or Mstripes}, tattoos will show up some through the material. I had to get these just because they are called Peas. I love peas. :) And at $6 each I want the peach and bubblegum colours too because I really like these socks.

Pea Oyummys shown above with $10 pink Microfiber Chenille Leg Warmers, the $7 Simple Elastic Sock Garter and the new $16 Biella Kathy Mohair Leg Warmers in charcoal. The chenille warmers are deliciously soft and snug yet stretchy. There’s only 2 colours in stock now so instead I’ll talk about the Mohair Warmers. These are wonderful. They are a thin stretchy kind of knit, but don’t let that fool you, the mohair will still keep your ankles or legs plenty warm. The colouring is sweet with hints of rainbow colours throughout the knit. They look soft and fuzzy but are a bit scratchy because they are mohair. So you’d want to wear them over something, which most of us do with warmers anyway. lol. :)

An interesting thing with these is the knit pattern is on the outside, with the smoother vertical looking ribs on the inside. I sharpened up the pic below so you can see the knit pattern:

The pic above is heavily photoshoped, in reality they look fuzzy.
The right leg has the warmer on inside out so you can see the weave for each way of wearing. These Biella Kathy Mohair Leg Warmers are pretty versatile. It’s like having 2 different looks in one leg warmer. The only bad thing is that white seam on the folded cuff, but that’s easy enough to fold into a cuff and hide. Also since they’re mohair I would keep them out of the dryer to avoid shrinkage.
These are perfect for someone who wants the look of leg warmers but doesn’t like the constricting feel or heavy weight some warmers have. Since these are so light, I didn’t even feel them while I had them on. As someone who has sore joints I can attest to the healing powers of wearing leg and wrist warmers. So if you know anyone with arthritis or sore joints, see if you can get them hooked on warmers because it really does help the joints.
