Also dreamy…

While testing out the newest colors of the Long Cuffable Socks I really fell in love with them, especially this dark red pair, and the walnut pair, and, okay, I was just loving all the new colors. They are great in place of tights as they go way up most legs, long or large, and stay up really well. Plus, they are warm, nicely ribbed and not too thick or thin, snug down to the feet while not being tight. We’ve been hearing from alot of people, including many of you, our best sock experts, about just how well these fit. As a result Alicia is bringing in even more colors than we originally planned and we’ve been toying with the idea of getting rid of the M43s, who needs ‘ em with thigh high socks as awesome as these and the Super Dreamies?

I still haven’t tried these. I ADORE the m43s though so you definetly shouldn’t get rid of them. Actually I can’t remember if I’ve bought any of the M43s…I have a bunch of M40s, but I love the ratio of ribbed to non-ribbedness on the m40s/m43s!(But if you do get rid of them I’ll just have to stock up hehehe)

lol, i haven’t tried these OR the M40s or M43s, but they certainly do sound like the quintessential very long sock!

Hang on, don’t the M43s have at least a couple more inches of stretch in the thighs than the Cuffables? *is slightly worried about losing the chance to wear long plain socks*

and also I find it hilarious in the photos I took of these I’m wearing Fornarina boots too lol

I also love the M43s. The stretch is great, they even stay up on my small legs without garters. However, I personallymight try the cuffables instead of the Ribbed M Stockings. It always bugged me that the feet aren’t always the same color as the rest of the sock.

on my super thin legs the big difference is that the srunches stay put with the cuffables. The Ms tend to have all the folds sag down to my ankles. For sure the cuffables could replace the ribbed Ms, but the reg Ms are a nice flat weave, so you’ve got 2 different looks between them. The toes on both are huge and boxy for my 6.5s. So they both go through the dryer at least once. & the cuffables itch me more. I had to wash them before I could even wear them the 1st time…. and they’re still a little itchy. Ms are softer. how’s that? So, I’ll enter a plea for small foot scrunchables if you’re going to replace the Ms with these. ooo, a 100 inch scrunchable?

HA! that’d be scrunches. don’t know what a srunch is. ;p

I definitely vote for keeping the M43s, as I, too, like the difference in look, and I personally find them wonderfully comfy. The Cuffables are fantastic–I am wearing mine for the first time actually!–the quality is really spectacular. I definitely think these can replace the Ribbed Ms. They definitely stay in place great, are nice and warm–although, I have never found the M43s to be hot in comparison, in fact, I think these Cuffables are warmer–but I didn’t find any itchiness, so, dear Rebeckah, you’re just weird. ;P All in all, I will still be a fan of the M43s, and now I love the Cuffables, too, but they are *different* looking socks, even if only a little, but different people have different preferences, likes and dislikes, as evidenced by all the various comments here. More variety to cater to such differences is probably something worth holding onto. Anyway, I’m in super rambling mood…

Gah,…I meant to order a pair of the cuffables with my order yesterday to try them out but I was too distracted by the super dreamys… Oh well! Next time I’ll have to get some hehehe.

Oh no! Please don’t get rid of the m43’s! I still want to order some. I also agree, these two types of socks have completely different looks: one ribbed, one not ribbed looking. So. : ( don’t get rid of m43’s!

These Cuffables are the best choice for trail walking /hiking.I’m 5′8″ and I can fold these socks down three times ending up with a thick 4″ cuff with just the top half of my kneecaps showing.Perfect length for kneesocks!………and the cuffs stay up without constant tugging. So if any of you out there are hitting the trails this Summer, throw on your hiking shorts, boots and a pair of the best knee socks around!
