The Gloves
I bought a pair of these gloves some time ago from a web store that charges too much for shipping that will remain nameless and was going to send a photo to Niq of them because I liked them and maybe other people would like them too, but I never ended up getting around to it. Fast forward to Friday last week when I picked up my parcel at the post office: When I got it home and opened it there was a pair of those very same Lace Up Fingerless Fishnet Gloves. Maybe I was sending subliminal messages ;) *twilight zone theme*
You might need a friend to help you to tie these up, I used my other hand and my mouth and it worked ok lol and they should fit a wide range of hand sizes due to the stretchiness of the fishnet.

don’t some flashes have power sync cords? My old one for my nikon did. gads I remember we had HUGE power packs for studio shoots in college. These tiny cameras making gigundus lights pop…. ahh, those were the days. Nothing is more fun than being in art school. ;)

Oooo, I love them. They’re so dainty and pretty and really rather sexy :). And thank goodness for comments too, because the idea of multi-coloured ribbons or extra long ribbons is just wick-ed.

I orginally bought these because my dad wanted some kind of glove(I figured fishnet might be easier to paint than the lace pattern gloves that he was going to use…) for me to wear in a Rembrandt’s “Jan Six” type painting, which I still haven’t posed for lol *if you are not familliar with this painting please type “Jan Six” into google images… the more you know* lol

See, I just knew these were a Babylon must have ~;) The truth is I wasn’t going o bring them in because I didn’t see how the average person would tie these wihout help (blame two decades of retail service for this perception of mine). But a very nice customer wrote requesting them so I thought we’d give em a try. Now I’m looking forward to picking out some new ribbons for my pair to try out some fun variations…
