What’s your top three?

August brought me a BIG house move from Texas to Michigan. While my over 200 pairs of socks and stockings were traveling cross country in boxes, I chose three of my *won’t do without them* pairs to go with me. So, even though my boxes took awhile to arrive, my legs still looked funky and fabulous! And here’s my three: the dark red with white ink lined. Which I had just bought & LOVE the color combo.

My ultimate favorite: Flat Knit Cotton OTK in black:

and everybody loves them, the O Chevrons with Black Details in lilac. Woo! The color of my carpet when I was a kid. … now to unpack….. ugh. … “Now where IS that thing I’m looking for?”…..

I have to admit, I’m not fond of LJ either which is why I never update my page there and sometimes I feel like I shouldn’t peruse or comment at socks are fun, but every so often I just have to applaud the lovely photos and reviews provided there. You know Heidi, I’ve always had you in mind for helping with the forum if we ever had one because you’ve always been so awesome at finding discrepencies on this site and give really great constructive feedback and I didn’t even realize what a great website you have til recently…

oh, and Heidi, I haven’ given up on the forum and have pointed Livvy to this discussion, but I do trust that she knows what will work best for us in the long run…

Heidi~ since I had the pleasure of hosting our lovely webmistress Livvie’s visit this week I brought up the issue of a forum again becuse I agree that it would be a great addition here. But from her designer’s point of view they are going out of fashion and we will be better served by the latest features of our future journal set up which will allow for ongoing searchable discussions with email update options so we can follow along without having to backtrack.
Man, I need to get a post up here this weekend don’t I? I need a shower and a few hours with my camera…

Michigan is very beautiful, especially in the winter! I used to live there, and it would snow up to about 5 feet!

Great pictures! We just got back from our summer grand tour and I had to pick my favorite socks and shoes for the trip. My husband gave me a hard time because I brought at least ten pairs of socks. I wore toe socks while for driving and camping and boot socks for all the hiking. Knee socks and socklings held up well during fishing and bike riding. I even had time to knit myself another pair of socks!

  19. Kandice Says:

Look at you, such a cutie with your little braid-tails! Glad I’m not the only one who thinks it’s important to look stylish while doing things like moving (my boyfriend laughs at me when I pack cute socks for camping!)

Hopefully the images will work this time…
