Tangerine tubes
I picked up some pixie tangerines for the tangerine tube pictures…
the pixies are lighter & brighter and our tubes are snugly & warmer.
Despite their differences a google image search confirms a large variety in shades of tangerines and a quick search on Sock Dreams reveals a large variety of tube styles, not to mention lots of colors of nice long, thick tube socks.
We’ve got them in basic shades and pastels, with stripes and Dreamy stripes. All but the natural now have images, and those will be added soon.
Some colors are more snug than others and we need to determine if it is color specific or if it is a batch by batch variation because it sure would be nice to know if some shades will fit more generously batch after batch. Until we can verify (and that could take longer than it sounds) I continue to suggest these for 19/20 inches around and smaller thought they could surely be broken in or wet stretched to fit larger…

~:D thanks! I bought two bags of those tasty little tangerines just to be sure I had plenty for the picture and shot it early in the morning to get that nice lighting. I’m so glad the weather is finally warming up enough to start shooting outside (comfortably) again.

As much as I love the socks ’round here, one of the other things that keeps me coming back to look is the photography–that is just such a cool picture!

I just love that pic… I can’t stop staring at how clear and sharp it and it’s colors are. Lovely!

Looks like I need two more colors of the Dream Stripes now that the pics are up! I love my grey pair and I love the OTK tubes in general even though I just have the Tangerine and the Red with white stripes. I definately need more!

oh, I never realized those were all the same kind of sock. I think I only have … um, solid black. :) hahahaha. typical of me. :) I was put off by them because the foot was like a shoe box on my little feet and the top was wicked tight. Do the more recent styles {striped ones} have a stretchier top?

I didn’t notice that and those were the ones I kept for myself, then again, I wore mine inside out and folded the tops down to my knees…

The dark pink dreamy tubes I got didn’t fit much past otk on me, but I like wearing them folded down anyway =)… I’m not really sure how long mine are since they won’t fit much over my thighs at all…

My pair of dk Purple dreamy tubes are sooooo long, they’re so long I had to fold the striped part halfway down because my thigh was too big for them to fit up there lol anyone else’s this long? lol

I love my navy tubes. And I wait eagerly for the purple dreamy striped I ordered last week. International shipping is very unreliable in that it can vary a lot how long time it takes for stuff to get her. Last time it took like three days and now it’s a week and they’re not here yet. I’m not despairing, but I _do_ lust for them.
