ARRRRRgh…Ugly pirate wenches!
They made OTK on me, but certainly weren’t comfortably anchored there. Due to their pattern being woven instead of screened (and apparently woven out of nonstretch materials…when will they learn?!?), these will NOT fit as wide a leg as they could (or should!). When I got them up onto my 17″ OTK region, they pinched like so:
Certainly not a good look for any lass! I shifted ‘em on down a bit, and with a bit of a wrinkle here and there, they settled much more happily just under my knees:
I still really like these socks, but I’m disappointed about their fit. They’re a great option for knee-highs or OTKS on any of you with very very small leggies, but I’d say they max out without pinching at about 15.5″, so bear that in mind when you set sail on your shopping cart.

hmm maybe I’ll have to avoid these, my legs are smaller than 15″ just otk but I get the feeling they might slip to the mid knee-cap area and smush the arteries in the back of my knee lol Maybe I’ll get the armwarmers sometime in the future…

awwwwwwwwwwgrrrrrrrrrrrrhhhhhhhhhhhhggg…. This makes me very sad to. Doesn’t sound like these would be even a remotely good choice for my ample pins. Oh poo.

anon, they’re much larger than the inklined; it’s only the tops that have the stretch problem, and yes, the tops are still more ample than those *ahem* form-fitting inklineds. :)

My calves are just a little under the limit..maybe I’ll include these in my next big sock order. ;)

strangely, we haven’t had any complaints/returns on these, at least not yet…

I’ve worn my ARRRRRRRRRRRRRmwarmers many times more than the socks so far but I love them still anyway…hehe

heehee, niq, i was tryin’ hard. :) i’m pleasantly surprised that you haven’t heard anything back about these…maybe people just love pirates so much that it doesn’t even matter. ;)

my right over the knee measurement is 14″ and although the fit of the actual sock itaself is heavenly- yes, very sadly the top portion with pirategirl is very tight and strains to fit over the knee on me and thus badly distorts and disfigures her….huge sigh….because the sock itself is such a lovely fit……oooooooh welllll…i do think they are so cute…..shameful…..i have yet figured out how i will wear them….i much don’t like the look of under the knee on me…
