Snuggley Sunday

The rain finally stopped, but it isn’t warm yet…
Lavender O Basics with lilac slouch socks nestled into comfy boots with a warm coat allowed me to wear shorts without catching a chill. The O Basics aren’t always as thick as I’d like, but they fit so well and are such a great price that I don’t mind layering when I want a little more sock around my feet. And the slouch socks are the perfect layer, with so many colors between the two the options are many.
I’m slowly but surely making progress in getting all the colors shot and added to the site and with this nice weather planned for the next week I’m looking forward to being able to do more of the O Basics outside. O Chevrons are nearly done, I just need to finish editing those, InkLiNed are being done this week too and I managed to get some of the new stuff shot last night, they’ll be added in the coming days…
In other news, I’ve hired someone to be our fulltime office manager/customer service type person, she starts in two weeks. Once she is trained and competently knowledgeable we’ll start actively taking phone orders for those who are not comfortable ordering online or are having trouble placing an order. She will also be a huge help to us in keeping up with the many emails & questions we get which, in time, will free me up to do the things I love doing with more sanity than I’ve had the past several months…
I can hardly wait!

The last couple weeks I felt like a dork for buying the lace up gloves because it was so warm(for january anyway) and rainy but now it’s finally snowing and it hasn’t stopped since yesterday. lol

It’s funny to hear you guys talking about snow and cold weather–it’s almost 70 today, and I’m wearing a skirt for the first time this year, huzzah!

Been exceptionally warmish out over this way as well (Chicagoland area) after a freezing December we have had above normal weather temps all January….and I am yet again jealous but happy for the lucky lass who gets to work at Sock Dreams….I am falling in love with Oregon lately for many reasons and the circle seems to keep stopping in OR with everything I find that I care for lately….odd…anyway long non-interesting story- moral I am talking my bf into checking OR out in a vacation some time maybe by that time a walk in might be possible and I can actually see & smell & experience Sock Land in person.

Raubynn, I’m with you on the Oregon thing. It’s time for me to move again & OR is one of the places I’m considering because I NEED RAIN. I used to live in Minnesota & they had the best rain like 3 days a week minimum. I was in heaven!!!!! We haven’t had rain here {west Texas} for almost 100 days now. ~sob~

Rebeckah, my bf is from Minnesota and his family still lives in upper Wisconsin on border of Minnesota and it is sooooo gorgeous up there!!! I think it would be so cold though in winter…Oregon just seems like a dream place- perfect! And the people there seem so free and artistic….dunno- i wanna visit for sure. wow, Rebeckah cool you have lived all over…me not so much :( …so i think time to travel!!
