Greenest Envy

I have desired a pair of green O Chevrons for the longest time but I didn’t tell a soul. Then out of the blue a parcel arrived from Texas – my friend Cait had not only hand-crocheted me a beautiful cream beanie and scarf to keep me warm for my first white Christmas, but she had also somehow guessed my secret wish and packed this pair of Hunter Green O Chevrons!

They keep me so warm, even out in the snow under a skirt! They have never snagged, not even under jeans, and I’ve thrown them in the wash and accidentally tumble dried them without any stretching or shrinkage. They stay up pretty well without garters but will require periodic pulling on skinny legs. I’m so in love with my O Chevrons that I recently bought a more daring pair of lime green O Chevrons with black details, and a pair of charcoal O Chevrons with white details.
Mmmmm I can’t WAIT to wear them!

Oh my gosh, and on my quest to find the link to my black spikey sock garters, I’ve just noticed there are now pink ones available!!!
When did this happen and why didn’t the world stop?

Ooh I’d love them a little longer too – perfect for longer legs or for showing a taunting slice of thigh under a short skirt!

Nice post! I like the O Chevrons too, though they’re only knee-highs on me. I would love a thigh high version. :)

I second longer Chevrons ;) …they just barely make it over my knees and they don’t tend to stay there except for the black/black details and the black/white details which for the most part do.

hm, my chevrons stay relatively well above my knees, but now that you mention it, babylon, i think some are slightly longer (or maybe stretchier) than others. i wore my a chevrons today under shag socks. :) oh, and raubynn, black spikeys (along with red spikeys and black and pink hearts) are in a box on their merry way to sock headquarters, so you should get a shot at ‘em soon! ;)

I love the ochevrons!!! They’re so wonderfull and don’t require a ton of pulling up for me. One of the reasons I love them so much is cuz they are longer than most other OTKs, comming just under mid thigh on me. Plus they look so cool! Great post Olivia.

My legs are a bit on the large side, but not huge, they tend to slip down less because I have more calf to hold them up but if you’re walking around alot like say..when i go to Disneyland, then it tends to be easier to cuff them at the knees/just above the knees. And I must say…that skirt is sooo pretty, I waaaant! I never have any luck finding green skirts…I should really get one to go with my plethora of green shirts though =)
