All wrapped up!

One of the best things about this time of year, in my humble opinion, is the wrapping (and unwrapping)! Now you can wrap YOURSELF up in these Tie Front Thigh Highs and Antoinette Knee Highs from Chinese Laundry!

The Thigh Highs (in Grey and Raspberry) were more of an Over-the-Knee on me, but they made it up that far with ease. On the other hand, the Knee-High Antoinettes (in Berriest) made it just PAST my knees, which is good news for some of you OTK fiends out there, as they may go further up shorter leggies. Both were sooo soft and wonderful, and both were a bit snug at the tops on 16-17″ Over-the-Knee spots. The Antoinettes were more so, which is to be expected as they were never MEANT to go over the knee, heehee! So if you’re buying them to stretch ‘em up there, be forewarned. ;)

Another wonderful thing: I get so frustrated with ribbons that are only satiny on one side, so that you have to try to twist ‘em all around to get the bows pretty. Not so on the Tie-front Thigh Highs! The ribbon is satiny on BOTH sides, and VERY pretty, so tying them up is easy! But be warned: kitties are entranced by the bows:

I give both of these ADORABLE new items two thumbs (or ten toes) up!

Surprise tights

Despite being super busy this week I’ve managed to find time to add just a few new items. These are the Reverse Ribbed tights from MP, they are much like the Ozone Surprise Rib otk, which is rapidly selling out and no longer available for us to order. I believe these are reorderable, though they are costly at $35 so I’m going to wait to invest in more til after the new year. In fact, I love the MP line so much I want to start adding as many of their items as I can. I originally brought them in by request but didn’t let myself have a pair because of the high prices, but I decided it was time to try some of their tights for myself and I have to say I am very impressed! Made in Denmark of high quality cotton that has been tested for toxins, these are even machine washable, in fact the label recommends you wash them before wearing them so that is what I did. They are preshrunk so the fit didn’t change (yeah, I did quickly try them on before washing just to see). At 5′ 5″ & 105 lbs their smalls fit me perfectly and seem like someone a bit smaller or larger could be comfortable in them too. They also come in medium & large (more sizing info on their page). You can see the other new MP items listed on the latest items page (AKA Socks & Feet Dept). I’m testing the stripeys out now and will tell you all about them next time I catch my breath…
