Marled at the Park…
The O Marled socks are the perfect way to keep your legs warm this winter! They’re so toasty and comfy and soft that I’ve even made a habit of sleeping in them. Pulled all the way up, they hit me about mid-thigh (without being tight or constricting at ALL) and stayed right where I put them without garters. But if you’re swinging on the swings at the park, I suggest folding and scrunching them down a bit if you want better leverage to swing higher ;)
The size small fit my 8.5 feet fine and they hugged my legs nicely from heel to thigh without being loose anywhere. The thick, marled yarn is so unique but at the same time feels almost classic for a winter wardrobe. I love them in black, but I do think the fawn is calling my name.
Good thing the holidays are coming up. I’ve already been asked what I want for Christmas, and when I reply “SOCK!” I always get: “No, really! What do you want?” Some people just don’t get it :P

yay marled’s! i have all the colours except the navy and while i thought the black would be my favourite, the fawns have been out of the sock drawer the most. they are just so pretty… but i do love them all and they are just, um, dreamy to sleep in, aren’t they?

i can’t wait for the super marled’s either… though, does anyone else have a problem with where to keep all of their socks? three drawers of my dresser have been cleaned out so they can hold just socks and i still have a pile on top of the dresser waiting for a home…

Heidi..Those plastic stackable storage drawers and pretty good and don’t cost that much.I also get that response when you tell someone you would like socks.I guess they only buy boring ones.

Hehe…I have 2 of the “big” 3 drawer stackable storage drawers mostly filled with socks..they’re definetly the way to go as far as light, affordable, mobile storage goes =)… and mine are even in garish pink sparklies with a purple base…lol… ok so maybe that’s not always a good thing =P

I managed to find them at target either 3 or 6 months ago…lol I saw the goofy sparkly pink drawers and had to have them! And the only drawer that sags is the very very bottom one because I have two of the big 3 drawers stacked on top of eachother. I dunno if I’d say it sags exactly tho..its just a little harder to pull out, so I put the stuff I don’t wear as often in that one =).

What sort of green are the green marled? I love some greens and hate others, so am reluctant to buy without photos.

Yeah I have two of the three drawer things full and then one drawer in another one that is full of stuff I haven’t worn yet and there’s also an overflowing basket on top.

I think I’m going to have to invest in some plastic storage drawers for my socks…I used to keep them in the two smaller drawers at the top of my dresser meant for socks & undies, but when those drawers started to overflow, I shifted them to the big deep drawers meant for sweaters and jeans. I think I have more socks than any other item of clothing :D

I wish we could sell sock storage, but that wouldn’t really work, at least not right now. For my personal socks I have a dresser full, one of those hanging shoe things for the closet ~those are great for tights & leg warmers, we have one big box full of socks in our bedroom, plus smaller boxes and a shelf or two with socks strewn across it besides. OPf course I also use dozens of the plastic drawers in variouse sizes and have indeed encountered bottm drawer bowing, esp if I stack them more than 5 high and the bottom drawer becomes hard to open and harder to close so I try not to stack to much weight on them. Oh, I also have a bunch of pairs nicely stored in baggies and some that are nicer to look at than wear pinned to walls ~:)

i’ve got one of the large-drawer sterlites filled to bursting, and a smaller-drawer one for tights, stockings, fishnets and garters, and thanks to rebeckah, i store most of ‘em in baggies, too! :) i’m about to have to branch out into another large sock dresser, but i don’t know where i’ll find room for it, lol!
