Overwhelming success!
Yes dear sock fans, we have waved the white flag of surrender for just one night…
thanks to Jane Magazine featuring us right in the middle of the holiday rush we have been overwhelmingly busy this past week. We have been working many long hours to keep up, I’ve even hired three more people to help fill in for the next couple of weeks. They’ll be doing easy tasks like weighing orders, sealing packages and labeling socks. In an effort to catch up before we get further behind I asked Olivia to take the site down tonight so there is no sock shopping to be had and I hope no one is too disappointed, we will be back at it first thing in the morning…

Oh no! I’m already going through sock withdrawls :( I’m glad the business is doing so well though! And those rainbow crochets look yummy!

I’m so happy we were able to keep the journal open, as well as the information pages on the site like the Frequently Asked Questions & contact page, Livvy is a genius, she came up with all this in a day and has some great ideas for our next update (most likely spring 2006, I know, I’ve said we were going to do a little update before, but we really will be doing one in the coming months).

Wow! I’m glad you’re busy. And hell, most other stores get to close every night to handle things. You guys need some time too! Glad the journal is up though or I WOULD be going through some withdrawls. I was actually wondering about those socks cuz I saw them on the latest page and they looked pretty cute.

Congrats on your success; if anyone deserves it, it’s you! I don’t order frequently but I did get some argyles last week, and I thought the shipping might take a little longer because I know you’ve been so busy lately… but, nope! I got them quickly as usual and I love them. Thanks again!

yes, a forun hads been discussed, it would require a mediator but that shouldn’t be problem, also such things as an inventory control system so that we cnnot sell something after it sells out (this is at the tops of our list right now) and a much better shopping cart/check out system and a comments section for each product and gift certificates (despite it being on the fron page and second on the FAQ page I still get asked daily) and lots of other good stuff too…

Hehehe yay for you guys..yet at the same time..more competition for the pretty sockies =(. But then again this means you should have more funds for keeping in MORE STOCK MUAHAHAHA!!! …I think I’m delusional from too many finals in one day so that probably didn’t make sense… =)
