Surprise tights

Despite being super busy this week I’ve managed to find time to add just a few new items. These are the Reverse Ribbed tights from MP, they are much like the Ozone Surprise Rib otk, which is rapidly selling out and no longer available for us to order. I believe these are reorderable, though they are costly at $35 so I’m going to wait to invest in more til after the new year. In fact, I love the MP line so much I want to start adding as many of their items as I can. I originally brought them in by request but didn’t let myself have a pair because of the high prices, but I decided it was time to try some of their tights for myself and I have to say I am very impressed! Made in Denmark of high quality cotton that has been tested for toxins, these are even machine washable, in fact the label recommends you wash them before wearing them so that is what I did. They are preshrunk so the fit didn’t change (yeah, I did quickly try them on before washing just to see). At 5′ 5″ & 105 lbs their smalls fit me perfectly and seem like someone a bit smaller or larger could be comfortable in them too. They also come in medium & large (more sizing info on their page). You can see the other new MP items listed on the latest items page (AKA Socks & Feet Dept). I’m testing the stripeys out now and will tell you all about them next time I catch my breath…

Shannon, it’d depend on how far toward the edges of each you are, the smalls really seem like they’ve got a good bit of stretch to them so depending on how & where you carry your weight you might do fine with a small, then again you might want to play it safe with a medium…

Couldn’t hurt to go with a medium I suppose. For as short as I am ( 5′ and 1/2″), I carry most of my weight in my legs…I blame it on the years of soccer and the family trend of having huge calves hehe. And then they’ll pretty much be guaranteed to be comfy, stretchy and roomy… I’ll have to wait on ordering for a bit though since I just made an order yesterday =(.

Thanks for the advice Raubynn but that’s been tried. I tried a few different things; otk, thigh highs, mp’s, etc and the sit in her drawer. Maybe it’s just time for a new girl in my life?!?!

EEK! The surprise ribs are a one time only?! ?? Oh no… I had the cutest image of the khakis with my red shoes and mocha cable knit warmers. And that was a big colour risk for me! ;) hahahaha At least I got the black ones which I completely adore.

I’m tempted to buy the off white MP argyles, My Grandpa was born and raised in Denmark and then he came to Canada, met Grandma and after my Dad was born in Edmonton they went back to Denmark(on the Stockholm, the boat that had sunk the Andrea Doria just over ayear earlier no less) for a few years and then to Toronto lol… man, that was a big tangent, my point was I could show them to Grandpa, he likes to hear anything about Denmark… I wish I could still buy those Rosti melamine spoons…. more tangents lol :P
