Monochromatically Cozy

Rain has brought a chill to the air here, so I geared up in my new black and grey striped U.S. Arm Warmers (which perfectly match my sweater) and grey heather Chinese Laundry Flat Knit Leg Warmers! I also picked up the December/January issue of JANE magazine to get a peek at the Sock-Dreams blurb on page 48!

There I am, engrossed. ;)

Meanwhile, the arm warmers were a big snug, but mostly snuggly (I have a 6″ wrist and 9″ forearms; I don’t think larger arms would fare well in these), and the new leg warmers stretched ALL THE WAY over my big buckle-y boots and cords! They kept all breezes at bay and looked mighty stylish, iff’n I do say so myself. ;) Not being a big fan of leg warmers in general, I occasionally see fit to add a pair to my wardrobe, and I would highly recommend these for fall and winter!

Mucho gracias to cYn for being such a great photographer and bravely belly-flopping onto chilly concrete to get the good shots. :)

I have a feeling that will change in the next year, the big suppliers just need to notice how popular they are….

I looooove the US arm warmers. I wish they came in more colors though, like dark greens and browns and stuff. There aren’t nearly enough colors of arm warmers on the market!

I’m waiting to reorder the boot toppers til after the holidays, but here’s a little secret, the supplier sells em cheap on the big auction site, do a little keyword search and you’re sure to find him, but don’t scream at me because of his prices, he doesn’t give me a much better deal and we’ve gotta make a profit too ~:) this message will self destruct in 5… 4… 3… 2…

for a moment i didn’t see that you were wearing a stripey shirt and stripey arm-warmers, i thought it was all one piece (which would have been way-cool). i kinda share your thoughts on leg-warmers, i have a few pairs (okay, six) but i only wear them at home. i just can’t seem to make them look good when i’m going out…

Still making proress that is, though still not finding all the keys ~;)

heehee, these thankfully didn’t quite do that, and eased up as i wore them. the top part that closes around your fingers did stay tight, but i liked that b/c it actually kept them in place and didn’t flop around and get drafty like other similarly styled armwarmers. :)

you have the same size wrist/forearm as me… I find most arm warmers are too tight on my forearm, usually because of a small tight elastic band right at the top, it’s like an arm guillotine ;P
