Glove Love!!!

I LOVE fingerless gloves. I have long fingers, long fingernails, and just generally larger hands than most women. I also DO a lot with those fingers, and therefore prefer to have them easily accessible. AND I wear a lot of black (go figure). ;) So when Sock-Dreams brought in these lovely Black Fingerless Gloves from K. Bell, maker of some of my other favorite comfies here, I knew it was just a matter of time before I snagged a pair.

That time came along with fall:

They were bought to replace my pair from a couple of years back, grey and a wool blend that occasionally got itchy and made me sorta look like a bum (grey fingerless gloves scrunched at the wrists of a faded holey frayed black hoody…anybody know where I can find a fire in a trash can?). The new K. Bells did the job spectacularly! They’re stretchy enough but maintain their shape well, thick enough to keep you warm but thin enough that you can do somewhat delicate work (such as making garters or typing) with them, black black black (note their shade as compared to the other two “black” items in the picture), and fingerless! :D When it’s very cold inside, I even sleep in these! They fold up nicely and tuck into my backpack for drafty days at work, too. I love love love these gloves!

Btw, that little sockie peeking out from the left side of the pumpkin is the (I-didn’t-know-it-was-out-of-stock-but-of-course-it-is) Monarch Printed Toesocks. Don’t worry, we may not have the Monarchs, but the other prints are cUUte, too! :)

P.S.~ Noone ever judge Sock-Dreams by what’s out of stock when I post. I have mysterious post-the-out-of-stock-item powers. :)
