These are Sol Socks midcalf lightweight fleece tabi, currently in black only.
10 inches from the tops to the heels in their lightweight fleece. Yes, they have midweight fleece tabis too! not long like this, but in a shorter version that I’ll be adding & showing you next. I’ve been planning to add these to our line since last year and finally got an order placed right before we moved. When the three big boxes arrived we were already neck deep in things to do and I didn’t get to them til this week. Now they have been unpacked, photographed & tested, were they worth the wait? absolutely, I love them so much, I think I’ll be wearing them alot during the cold weather, with & without flip flops.
What happened to the rest of our Halloween additions?
I’ve been wondering that all weekend myself…
Poor Xilia must be terribly ill as it sounded like she had them all but ready to go last I heard ~:(

and now, thanks to Shelleopard, you can have your very own spider garters!
as you can see they don’t have to be worn with socks, I think they are a great adornment to anything on your legs including these two tone fishnets. They are sized to fit just under or above your knees and have the usual two snap system so you can adjust them if you need an extra couple of inches. Don’t be afraid, they won’t bite!

Shelleopard has done it again with these uber cute nurse themed sock garters. They are about 17 inches long unstretched and easily fit my 19 inch thighs so should fit at least 20 inches around your legs too and have two red snaps in the back which can be adjusted to add a couple of inches. They’d be the perfect touch to a nurse or candy striper outfit and will no be the last of the fun Halloween themed items we’ll be adding this week. We’re getting lots of notes from customers hoping to receive their orders in time for the big day and as those of you who’ve ordered from us before know we get most order out of our door within 24 hours and to your door within a few days. Of course, the postal carriers occasionally have mishaps so if your order is more than a couple of days late it doesn’t hurt to write us and ask for tracking info ~the best way to do that is to reply to the confirmation email because it goes straight to the shipping department and has all the information we need to answer you (your complete ship to name, order number & date). One day we’ll implement a program that will automatically send you tracking information upon shipment, but that day isn’t here yet. One more thing before I finish my coffee and head out the door to go to work, I’m now editing images on my nifty new laptop where I see images smaller than I do on my desktop at work while trying out new editing software, so hopefully my images look okay, the one above is an enlargement (to make matters worse) so I’m really hoping it isn’t pixilated or dithering or anything else yuckie…

We have some great new items, but we have been so busy that there are no pictures yet! I am working on some tonight and should have them on the site by tomorrow afternoon at the latest.

An idea of what will be added tomorrow… Orange knees, pumpkin socks, shark socks ( its so not even what you could imagine.. The cuteness will just eat you up!!!! :P ), Darker reverse dream tubes with black stripes new wool items and super cute knee highs with stars and also tri tone stripes designed by a local female run sock company. So many socks and so little time. We are currently running out of certain items and you may be noticing new colors starting to appear in all varieties in the M line. Eventually we will have ALL possible colors in as many styles as possible in the Dream socks. With this much variety coming in we may occasionally run out of items for a short while as the more we stock the longer it takes the mill to produce what we need. Usually we can restock within 2-3 weeks, but sometimes it can take longer. If there is something particular you want or need just email us and we can try to expedite the order with that certain item.

Not one to leave you without an image for the day I am posting a pic from the downtime during a photoshoot I did this weekend.. oddly enough the models all love and wear Sock Dreams socks! :)

One of the gals is wearing the o chevrons in white and the other is wearing some snazzy argyles that ( I just realized) are another item in our ever expanding backlog of socks to list ( she is wearing my sample pair for the shoot :))

I was planning to review these deceptively simple new anklets and tell you all about how surprisingly wonderful they are. Then I got to work this morning and discovered that I wasn’t so sure about them when I placed the order & now I need to order alot more right away! So now I cannot tell you about how comfy they are or why I think they are better than Bobby Socklings because of the roll tops that won’t leave any marks on your ankles when you take them off, or how they are so light that I could feel the comfyness of my fleece lined shoes like never before, all that and while I sit here typing this my feet still feel safe and warm in these little lovelies…
because if I told you how much I really like them we’d run out before this weekend, in fact, I think we might anyway!

I’ve spent the day at home working on editing images and adding items to the site.
I have my new laptop nearly set up the way I need it with everything installed & files transferred. Every little thing, like Bloggar & WS_ftp, one by one I am remembering things I take for granted day to day and getting all my toolbars customized, every so often something doesn’t work the way I want it to or I can’t find something I usually use, but it’s all coming together and I’ve added half of the items we shot a couple of weeks ago which is about half of the new products that have been haunting me for the past month. Including my Rugby 3 Striped socks above (I’m still wearing them and Lola’s nose is still not far away), I couldn’t resist these as they were only 3s and it really is my lucky/significant number, plus, these stripes, rose wine, Mmmm! They are from Hot Sox, I also added some Legale socks and Ozone yummies like these…

A few things that surprised me about these…
they stayed up better than I expected them to, not perfectly mind you, but well
they came up nearly mid thigh so should be over most of your knees
they stertched alot more than they looked like they would
(the more they stretch the less of a scallop you get at the tops)
I really like them, they look fantastic on!
At this rate I just might get caught up later this month!!!

The Super Stripes Knee Highs are back (for now…),
and in two new colors, with pics coming soon!

I’m still loving my Black & Armys.

These are two of my very favorite colors, and I was so happy when we brought these in, and then I found a pair of pants that matched them almost exactly!!! :) The Super Stripes Knee Highs are a stretchier fit than most of our other knee-high styles, and they’re only a wee bit short on my size 12 feet. Their greatest feature is, of course, the bold stripes, but the fact that they actually stay up is an excellent bonus. March on over to the dreaM stockings or newest items page and get some, soldier!

When the EG Smith order came in I was looking for the No Foot Boots in black so I dumped the contents of two of the three boxes out onto the floor in room three (home of the tights & petticoats). Sadly they were not in there because EG Smith is out of them too ~:( but we did get lots of socklings, Over The Knees, tights & bootsocks (those are not in the pile). We got some new socklings in heather bark, sadly they are out of the OTK’s in bark though, we also got three new tights~ chartreuse, orange & paprika, we also got inky violet back in because people have been requesting it ~:)
All are added in, complete with pictures and are ready to go home to you.
As for all the other new items we’ve been teasing you with for sometime now, I hope to be able to get them added in before too much longer and have just acquired a laptop so that I can do photo editing at home since there are not enough hours in the day here at the shop to get it all done lately…

This is the “new black” which I featured on the O Marled last month, this time I’m wearing the Super Marled. It seems just a tad less thick compared to the other Super Marled colors (including the original version of black we had) but they are super soft and every bit as comfy, maybe even moreso. I washed my pair before I wore them and put them on before bed last night. They simply must be the best long socks ever, and I know many of you agree because I’ve had some really wonderful letters from people telling me how they are the most perfect sock ever, long & comfy, even on ample thighs. They stay up really well if I’m not moving around too much which is great for around the house, but I’m out walking they fall down if I’m not wearing sock garters (btw, I’ve just added some of the black ones with buttons and hope to have more done in the coming weeks) you could probably even safety pin them to your undies if you wanted, I think I’ll try it for fun when we get home. I think they are pretty comfy slouched down too…

no, not completely, just kind of…
sales for October usually are about double what they were in August and this year is no exception, that is why we start running out of stuff faster than we can restock and the same thing happens to our suppliers so even they are out of stuff that we should not be out of because I’ve been trying to order it since before we ran out. On top of that Xilia is sick this week so we’ve been short handed. But we’re getting orders out and as far as I can tell I’m caught up with replying to questions, though I am a bit behind in personal correspondences so if you haven’t heard from me chances are I am thinking about writing you the nice long letter you deserve and am just waiting for that moment that I feel caught up. After I get orders pulled I want to post a review of the Super Marled socks because I am loving a pair right now and want to share the joy with you, my sockiest of friends, til then, happy toes!
