Waffle-y goodness

snug but cozy
These are quite unique with their striped thermal texture. We found them to be a bit snug & can’t recommend them for anyone with calves wider than 13 inches, unless you just want to wear them scrunched down which was cute too and can be seen in the picture of the green & blue on their page. BTW, if you like the blue & green you better hurry, these came in mixed color packs and each pack only had two blue/green and wouldn’t you know it, they’ve been selling the fastest this week! I think we can order more, but when/if we do it will be a few weeks til they arrive.
They are only supposed to be knee high, but on my legs they went over my knees just a bit (my knees are 15 inches up) and they stay up really well! I like them, Xilia didn’t as much as they were much tighter on her, hopefully we’ll get a review out of her so you can have the bad with the good…

I like these and they look warm but I’m waiting on the bigger review because my calves are like 14 inches and I don’t particularly like snug things most of the time. I know I’ve had a problem with some argyles that are stitched inside, like the ones Delia’s sells in the three packs with the stripes and dots, and I get angry when something doesn’t fit cuz my calves are too big.

Those are really cute… I love waffle-y things.

The pink and black and blue and green look adorable…but i don’t think they’d fit my calves =(

I thought these were so pretty, but they foot was about 2 inches to long on my size 6 feet you can sorta see this in the blue green pic but a little nip tuck solved that) and the sock was WAY tight on my 14 inch claves. It actually hurt to have these up to my knees. But I still have my pair… I just wear them all scrunched up around my ankle! :)

My fav pair of bloomers ever! go to bloomers4u.com she does them per your measurements and specs, it’s a little complicated on the site but well worth it!

thanks for the link, but, nah… i sew almost all of my own clothes myself (except for jeans, sweatshirts/t-shirts & undies) and just last night i went out and got a pattern for victorian bloomers. wait, i think they call them ‘drawers’. i’m making my first pair black cotton with white ruffles. i think they’ll look so nice with super stripes… :)
