Moms love them too!
well, my mom does at least…
by happy coincidence, my mom was wearing her pair of O Marled in navy when she came to work yesterday (yes, she is now working with us, helping with sock folding & labeling~:) I couldn’t resist taking a picture of her wearing them (I’ve heard that it is thought most of us developed our love for feet & socks as very small children when feet were closer to eye level for us and the coming of feet meant we’d be picked up & loved or fed). My mom did indeed help inspire my love for socks, when I was growing up she would take me to places that had the coolest socks, it’s all a bit foggy for me now, but some of those socks we found are still in my collection & much loved even if I can no longer wear them. After dinner last night she went on to tell me that they are just about her favorite socks! I did not prompt her or ask her or lead her into that statement, she just truly loves them! She likes that she can pull them up over her knees when she goes outside in the cold and scrunch them back down when she gets back in. Me, I pretty much keep mine pulled up ~:)

Hmmmmmmm sock blood lines,well I guess mine must skip a generation.Thats nice of your Mom to help out.I have some old worn out socks that I bought over 15 years ago.There still very comfy….it’s like holding on to my past.

Oh, that is way too cute! I gave my mom some of your cute bootsocks for her birthday and she loves them too. =)

My mom says she used to wear some cool socks when she was younger. She’s like too afraid too now even though I’m always trying to get her to wear some.

My mother would have a heart attack if she ever looked in my sock drawers. She strictly wears trouser socks in black or white! Maybe my sock-love is a form of rebellion? ;)

I dropped off the toddler toe socks at my friend’s office the other day. He told me his son LOVES them and runs around the house all day in them and refuses to take them off! He said he’ll send me some pictures and give me some more feedback on them when he gets a chance.

Yes, please do! we’re going to be getting more kids socks in the coming months too! images & reviews will be more than welcome, even if you don’t want them featured here in the journal, we’d just love all the feedback we can get since we ourselves only have critter kids…
