The new black
no, I’m not talking about pink, or whatever the zines are saying it is this month.
These are the new black O Marled, no longer as black as they used to be…
but every bit as thick and comfy as before!
I’m really happy to have cool weather again so I can wear my favorite over the knee socks again. Still ribbed from the ankles to an inch or so over the knees with that funny top section that has no elastic and looks wider than the rest of the socks, especially when you pull them out of the dryer all fresh and clean. I had them made that way so that we could fold them over and have them still look nice underneath, no elastic to be seen, yet they still stay up, unless you run or jump around, then they may scoot down a bit, but a quick tug will put them back in their place. We are asking for more colors of the marled yarn because it is thick and soft and one of my personal fav’s. I also want to get a shorter version, like an ankle length…

I also love these to pieces. If you ever get the chance to marl black and other colors together, that would be awesome. These are so comfortable!

There was a delicious cherry red marled sock in a sample batch last year, for some reason they never got that yarn, but we’re asking them to get it for us now, hopefully they will plus any other interesting variations we can find.

OoOOooh, just had an idea–if they marled black with a RAINBOW of colors, i’d definitely try a pair!!!

I have a couple of the marled M40s which I LOVE!!!! The feet fit perfectly, I wish all the DreaM liine had feet like those… I’m going to have to get some of these OTK now. purple & red marled would look great.

Those look oh so cozy… they just make me wanna have a cup of hot chocolate and cuddle up! I am going to have to get some marled for the fall!

Ooooooooooh. If you get more colors of the marled sockies I’ll be sooo happy. My super marled are some of my favorites but it’s been too hot to order anymore! But with winter coming I’ll definetly be on the lookout!

Yes you can wear a lot more socks and even layer them in the cooler weather…But I don’t want to wish my summer away yet ;-o
