So girly!

First I have to rave about the EG Smith leg therapy solids. They’re a bit warm for this time of year, but I can tell they’ll be *perfect* to keep my legs, butt and toes toasty in a skirt this fall and winter (stock up on them now!). They’re nice and thick, go on great and the fit couldn’t be better. Plus, they really are opaque even stretched over my hips. I paired them with my pink & grey M stripes, one of the first pairs of socks I ever got from Sock Dreams, and perhaps even the socks that got me hooked :) I like wearing them scrunched down into my boots (no, I never lace up my boots ever). The pink & grey look so nice together. I always get tons of compliments when I wear them. I *had* to add thepom pom sock garters, just for the cuteness factor. I love shelleopard for making these! I’m always looking for excuses to wear them.
I was just laughing about how I never wore skirts until I got such a nifty sock collection; now I wear nothing but skirts :D This place has made me considerably more girly.

heehee, alex, i have gotten that look, although i don’t remember having gotten it from either of my current kitties. oh, and sizes are so funny! i have the same size calves as and just slightly larger thighs than niqkita, slightly larger feet than eg, the same length legs as xilia, and about the same size hips as maryfaery! :D

it’s funny, b/c i MAKE the pompoms and have no trouble with the kitties chasing them! :D although john will stare very hard and paw at them while i’m sewing them if i don’t tell him not to. :)

Mayfaery, is it okay if I ask your calf/hip/feet measurements? Comparatively, I am closest to Xilia in the size department – but I am curious! I love this post – you have a great sense of color coordination! Where in the WORLD did you get that adorable skirt?! Xilia made a post back in July with some pink pompoms, green knees, and super M’s that convinced me to try out the combo – and I loved it! The pompoms are great, but I have a dog who enjoys to chew on them when I go walking by. But I digress – a great post! If you’re uncomfortable giving out personal information like your measurements, though, I understand. :)

heehee *blush* thanks, mary and xilia! who’d'a thunk that my garter ideas would be so well-liked! I, too, am hooked on short skirts thanks to sock-dreams, always looking to wear more stripey somethings! :D
