Say hello to Roscoe. My newest sock inspector! Not only does he love to help me when I am rolling around on the floor snapping all those socky pics, he is also remarkably good that sniffing and sorting out the ones that have already been on my feet from those I still need to wear and photograph!!!

Here he was helping me with sorting and getting images of all the array of new slouch sock colors!!!!! Roscoe loved them as I am sure you will to! :)-

At last, I can show off my stripey OTK tubesocks!
I’ve been enjoying this pair since last month, but decided not to let the cat out of the bag about them til they were here, just in case something didn’t work out with being able to get them in. But they are now here in three cool colors (Xilia is proudly wearing the other two in the post below, in case you didn’t already see it :)
Since we can do these in just about any combination we dream up it could really get crazy trying to keep them all straight, so we’ve decided to just have a few at a time, and change them out now and then, maybe every month, or every other month. So, if there is a combination you’d really love to see let us know, we just might add it in the future ~:)
I love how these fit me. I don’t always like the way tube socks fit around my feet, but these are truly comfy and stayed on my feet for hours of walking around (rather than hanging four inches past my toes after my first trip down the stairs). And, as you can see, Lola the birthday girl loves them too! she found them to be extra snuggle-able V..V ‘

Many thanks goes out tonight to the Berlin Inn on Powell & SE 12th street here in Portland. Not only do they allow dogs on their patio, they actually have a doggie menu!. I’d like their Warm Patio Pooch Menu to have at least one more healthier option, but the Chow Hound was pretty tasty (yup, I tried it myself) and spätzle with gravey once in awhile can’t hurt a girl, plus it had some milk bones mixed in! (I didn’t try those, Lola assured me they were tasty though!).

Its summer and everything is full of color. Blue of the sky, rainbow cacophony of flowers abuzz with bees and flitting with butterflys.

And now with these fantastic new striped tube socksI feel I am part of all that summer glory. As with most tube socks the terry knit is great for keeping feet cool and dry in the sweltering days, but these will also keep you cozy during the nights when the temperature drops. They stayed up reasonably well on me but did tend to roll ( that wonderful chubbier on the top and tapered at the knee thing my legs do) so if I wore these under pants I would wear them with a garter. But who would want to hide these lovelies under pants!!!!! I will don a skirt and head out into the warm breezes and dance into some sunbeams on my way to the beach!

And for those of you not quite so fond of bright bold colorings we also have these Top striped OTK Tubes in the staple colors of black red and white or black green and white.

Strength is the only thing I have that is helpful when faced with image issues.
I pull it on like stockings, a sheer coating of armor, that keeps the self-destruction minimal. It is my superheroine costume and I don it when I lose sight of my power. Maybe someday I won’t need the costume?

and you know, he’s right. I used to feature them so much I thought people were sick of them. Then we started getting so many of our privately labeled socks that I practically forgot about all of my beloved EG Smith boot socks nearing the bottom of our private sock box (just one of about 5 places we keep our personal stash of socks upstairs). In fact, Xilia was pulling orders that morning and was momentarily confused because none of our own bootsocks come in two of the colors Dennis ordered, then I reminded her that we still sell the EG Smith version ~;)

So I couldn’t resist an opportunity to show off some layering with our latest boy’s socks: milk & cookies, just like the InkLiNed, but shorter and in three foot sizes
(we’ve got them in red now too! no pix yet, …soon!).

Starting our week off with a newbie…

and because they are woven rather than printed you get the strings on the inside that you see in the top image. The plus side of this is they don’t distort so badly when they stretch around your legs. And, while I thought it looked a bit odd up close, it still looks stunning on your legs. Why did it look odd? because it is woven, meaning that it goes under the sheer part to get to the next woven part, but do you think the guys are going to notice? No, and neither are the girls who are secretly checking out your legs with envy & desire. So go ahead and flaunt what your mama gave you, even on these swelteringly hot summer days!

One of the tastiest things about summer is fresh cherries!
Sock Dreams now has the hottest cherry stockings of the season by Leg Avenue for only $6! I found that they really did go thigh high and stayed up pretty well on their own. The downside to that being that they did dig into my thighs a bit as this picture clearly shows. It wasn’t uncomfortable, but was less than flattering at some angles. When worn on a firmer part of my thigh while my legs were in motion it was barely noticeable. The addition of a garter belt can only make these sexier (be on the lookout for especially sexy garter belts from Hanky Panky *hopefully* coming soon!).
I wasn’t personally into these and might not have brought them in at all if Shelleopard hadn’t asked so nicely. But when I put them on I found them to be alot more fun than I expected so I hope some of you have been secretly hoping we’d get just such a thing while short skirt weather is still with us…
