Boring Beige?
I think not!!!
Ok so at first I was skeptical about this shade of the new fencenet thigh highs. I mean come on….. its BEIGE!!!!!!Tacky carpets are beige… My grannys wardrobe is beige……
But after crawling through the heat wave to get to work the other day I found my legs barren and lonely with narry a sock being adorned. Niq had been snapping pics of the fencenet thigh highs for the site the night before so those beige scraps were sitting there before me. I pondered for a moment.. noticed they almost matched my shoes ( which happen to be TAN thank you very much!!!! :)- ) and decided to put them on.
Oh my…they looked fan figging tabulouse on!!!!!!!
Perfectly light enough and pretty for lounging in the sunbeams soaking up the vitamin D.
They stayed up well while languidly strolling about in the shaded indoors.
These wonders even managed to look mysterious and sexy in the dark cool corners of the pub.
Eeek!!! So now I love beige!!!!! Does this mean I ma turning into my granny?!!!! :)-

You know EG, I was thinking the same thing initially with the beige, but what I am liking more and more about it is that I can wear it with ANYTHING. Being nearly flesh toned I don’t have to coordinate any fancy combo to match my out fit. In this heat effort and layers are 2 things I try to avoid! :)-

But in the winter I am sure I will put some funky color underneath em and repost with a layered look .

Hey, I have a pair of flesh-colored (beige) fencenets and some regular flesh-colored fishnets, and they’re never boring… just subtle enough to jazz up an outfit. I like these with your matching shoes, Xilia.

Yea.. the word “beige” usually sends me running for cover. I’ve been looking at these pics for a few days now, trying to decided if I’m still ascared of it… You really make them look good, and I have to say I’ve warmed up a bit… but I do think I would prefer to see the beige layered over something else bit more wild.

I have always loved the nude or beige fishnets…they somehow camoflauge your legs and make them look perfect- free of all flaws…..they look almost fake/like dolls I always feel when I wear my nudes…of course, these fencenets are larger diamonds then regular fishnets but the color, I think, is lovely..and, of course, anything on Xilia is always gorgeous

…and just think – if you are out in the sun long enough – you will have some interesting tan lines……..

they look good, beige is usually kind of orange-y toned, those look more neutral… or is that just the photos? I’m so pale that it might look funny on me anyways lol

The last picturein this post is in the shade and artsy fartsy, but they are pretty close to a tan (more golden that fresh outa the selftaaner tube orange) skin tone when on. The color when streatched mellows out a bit. I would say that tone wise for indoors the one at the pub is the most accurate and for outdoor lighting the first 2 would be accurate. The lighting was kinda wonky in the 3rd one, as there was light shining in through mulitcolored galss and such. I have pale leggies as well and these actually made my legs look a tad darker I thought, I would recomend shaving with these… the little spikes of my leg hair were framed to perfection! :)-
