Bootsocks over Boysocks
Yesterday we had a note in an order from a long time customer:
Special Instructions: Hi Niqkita, It’s been a long time since you’ve modeled boot socks, hasn’t it? Please show off these! Best regards, Dennis
and you know, he’s right. I used to feature them so much I thought people were sick of them. Then we started getting so many of our privately labeled socks that I practically forgot about all of my beloved EG Smith boot socks nearing the bottom of our private sock box (just one of about 5 places we keep our personal stash of socks upstairs). In fact, Xilia was pulling orders that morning and was momentarily confused because none of our own bootsocks come in two of the colors Dennis ordered, then I reminded her that we still sell the EG Smith version ~;)
So I couldn’t resist an opportunity to show off some layering with our latest boy’s socks: milk & cookies, just like the InkLiNed, but shorter and in three foot sizes
(we’ve got them in red now too! no pix yet, …soon!).

My friend put on the boys inklined socks and refused to take them off, she raved about how comfy they were and how adorable they made her feet look!

Hurray for the boysocks! I love the way they look. Any news about getting them in extra-extra-big? I want to get the greens & oranges for my sweetie for his birthday, but he wears a men’s size 13 shoe. Poor guy is sick of wearing beige and black.

Nope, two socks work well for keeping your feet cool & dry on hot days. This of the nomads in the dessert all wrapped up, it’s the same effect. I’ve actually known people who swore by a wool socks with a cotton sock for the hottest days (I first learned this from a friend who works outside and really gets a sweat going). I think part of the trick is not to have the socks going to far up your legs…

Hahahah! It was true! She had been wanting to paint her room for months and I am guessing those socks inspired her because she painted her doors and trim black and her walls a soft green color. Great post. :)
