fuzzy balls! tough balls. cat balls???

A story about durability:

Meet John.

John likes sleeping upside-down, right-side-up, sideways, and the-other-side-ways. He also enjoys goldfish crackers, watching people sleep, fresh bowls of food, tasty floor-bugs, napping on top of frank (the cat-ball in the background), and meeting new pompoms.

mmm…red.

What was that? Was it edible?

Gotta go!

That pompom spent only about thirty seconds in john’s pretty little claws, and it will be torn further asunder later, I’m sure. This pair spent over a month lying about the floor, getting occasionally chewed:

Every few days I would have bits of blue and black fuzz to pick up. The pompoms themselves are quite bedraggled, to say the least, but…

they’re still on the cord!!! :D I wouldn’t recommend letting your cat play with your pair of PomPom Sock Garters, but now you can rest assured that the pompoms themselves will stay put through some pretty tough situations! ;)

We’ve got balls…

hanging low
Soft, fluffy, bouncy balls!
AKA pom poms, on sock garters, with snaps
Strap them to your legs and show them off with pride.
These are one of the cutest sock accessories I’ve ever seen…
Wouldn’t you agree?
Hand made by our very own Shelleopard in pink, black & white.
We like to wear the with knee highs, and they can be worn over your knees too because they have two snaps, snap ‘em both for the smallest fit or just one snap for higher up. Everywhere we wear these people comment & rave, so cute, so unique, where’d you get them???
…Only at Sock Dreams!

Graduating in style…

“…When I found out that the girls have to wear knee-length gowns I knew I needed a lovely pair of socks from you to show off as I walk up to get my diploma, hehe. Thanks again, I’ll be eagerly sitting at my mailbox :)
With high honors in style & individuality ~:)
Just wanted to let you know that I’m officially a high school graduate, and thanks to you I graduated in style in my mallard Super Ms! I definitely turned heads when I went up to get my diploma. Thanks again :)

Sweet!
CONGRATULATIONS!!!
May I post it in the sock journal?

Sure, I’d be honored :D

And so are we…
a perfect picture too, simple and to the point…
this girl is going to go far in the world ~:)

Tabis with a twist

This recent acquisition from Ozone is called a Thumb Sock.
Just like the rest of the tabis the big toes are separated from their team mates.
But, unlike the rest of the tabis, these are made in France and have stripes! That makes these one of the few striped anklets (a category we are sadly lacking in right now). They are a bit thicker than the other tabis too! I really like wearing my pair for walking and had alot of fun running around the park climbing in trees without shoes (something I rarely do because I like to keep my tootsies safe & protected).
For those wary of toesocks these are a great alternative that allows you to experience the joy of freed toes while wearing socks, for those who love toe socks these are a great addition to the selection of toe freeing styles, and for those who love tabis these are just plain great without being plain!

Great White Socks

200 inches!?!
We did it!
We went ahead and brought in 200 inch socks
even though tis not the season
for legs to be covered in super long warm socks
in fact, I haven’t even found the motivation to try them on yet
but Xilia was more than happy to don them for us…
they go on with great ease but put on quite a squeeze at the 22 inch mark
So beware and order quickly if you dare
because we only have 10 pair
and this is one of two, nice & close for you to view:
one of two

A late night/early morning game for you…

What are they?

Sabrina’s Socks

Bluesocks
Hi! I got my socks yesterday! They are awesome!
They are blue and ivory/natural striped.
I’m going to wear them for my wedding! I wanted to say that I’m a plus size, around 26/28 so my legs are thicker than the ones you show on the site. The socks don’t come up over my knee (I didn’t expect them to) but they do come up to just below my knee. I think they will stay there fairly well too. Anyway, I just wanted to let you know to get customer feedback on how that sock fits on other sized gals. Oh and I have size 11W feet and they fit my feet fine too. I have a picture I can send if you’re interested. :) Thanks!!

That’s wonderful!!!
It’s always good to get more feedback.
Have you checked out the journal? We have a few other girls larger than myself who do reviews and several more who comment…
I’d love a picture and might even use your review in the journal ~:)

Hi there. :)
I have checked the journal out but I figure the more good feedback the better. :)
I’m attaching the pic. Tree trunks, scratched wood floors and all! LOL

Beautiful!!!
I’m going to run upstairs and get some pics of the newest color of these right now…

shades of green…

Oh, what to say about the Feelmax Over the Knee Toesocks! Let’s start with looks…first off, STRIPES!!!! :D Secondly, their colors are gorgeous, from the muted shades in this olive and khaki pair, to the whimsical six tones of the colored toes choice, to the bold candy-corn flair of the yellow and oranges, my first pair of these, that got me hooked!

They reach just past my knees and stay there pretty well, thanks in part to the very slight ribbing around the arches of the feet, which keep them in place in shoes better than other toesocks. They also may provide a very slight massage-y feeling, but that depends on the person. :) I’m very picky about cushiness and seams, and these get As on both, for the having of the former and lack of the latter.

Yes, cushy they are, comfy in and out of shoes, and the tubesock style keeps them able to fit a wide size range! They don’t fall off of my little pinky-toes and they don’t squeeze my big toes, either. They’re nicely stretchy and breathable, and would probably even scrunch well if you’d like…I haven’t tried it though, ‘cuz who would want to scrunch such pretty stripes???

Just a note; I found the “khaki” color to be a little more green-toned, less tan, which was a relief to me. as I prefer the two shades of green to my imagined “khaki.” :)

They’re back!!!

Shhh! They snuck back in...
Yes, it’s true!
The super comfy, really stripey over the knee toe socks are back in stock!
The only sad news is that there are still no new colors ~:(
But all six of the previous color choices are back & ready to go…
take your toes out for an adventure!
to the river, or hiking or shopping or out on the town.
And in case you didn’t know…
they are tube style so many foot sizes can wear them
they have no toe seams so sensitive toes will love them
they are 75% cotton but are preshrunk so you don’t have to worry
and they have plenty of elastic to keep them up around your knees
all the while being comfy and unique just like us ~:)

O Chevron Variations…

one is just a little different than the other
Can you see it?
They are ever so slightly different…
Pulled up all the way the ones on the left go higher
but within an hour they are both level and stay that way.
The ones on the right have more of a knitted appearance, almost like lace…

I’ve been wearing one of each since yesterday morning to give them a full testing.
Given the choice, I’d go with the lacier version
but for some reason we keep getting slight variations, 3 so far…
all look very nearly the same when you wear them though and all stay up well without getting baggy around the ankles and feet. So if you order a pair and they look different than they did last time you ordered them we apologize, consistency would be nice, but they will still be unique, sexy & comfy on your legs ~:)
